I primarily use this bag to store my monitor and accessories within my home rather than to transport it, really, and it serves this purpose very well. My monitor is 27 inches rather than 24, so this bag doesn't entirely cover the sides, but the side straps mean that it can still accommodate the vast majority of the monitor, and given that I'm not moving it very far, the exposed portions don't concern me overmuch.
