Best $40 Bucks I Ever Spent!
Posted .Well, I was looking for some "ear buds" to use with my Moto Droid at work (listen to music). I hate ear buds, they are uncomfortable and sound horrible but I was under the impression that for the money they were what I was looking for. I am SO glad I browsed the Best Buy site and found these headphones! I read what seemed like a million of these reviews and looked at the landslide stats (nearly 200 reviews and 90% 5 stars).. are you kidding me? These Rocket Fish blue tooth phones were on sale for $40.00, that's probably what I would have paid for the lesser "buds" so I had to try them. Now mind you, I've only had these on my head for an hour, but the fit and finish is great, pulling them out of the box they have notable weight to them (usually a good sign with small electronics), charged them for the recommended 3 hours, pairing with the Moto Droid is easier than the instructions led me to believe! There was no need to input a password as instructed, turn on blue tooth, turn on head set, and it works. I like that. all the buttons function well and have positive feel to the detent.. The sound for music listening is outstanding for the price paid! They are not the pro tools studio Bose isolators, but they sound more like a $90.00 pair of phones than $40, and in my book that translates to excellent value. I made the "test call" with them and the phone quality is just fine, I am not familiar with other blue tooth devices, this is my first crack at this, but the conversation on my end sounded perfect, no noticeable defects in sound quality. I asked the "testie" how I sounded, and he said "fine! Why? you get a new phone or something"? After revealing the blue tooth, he said he could hear slight noise cancellation, but my voice was perfectly legible. What more could I have asked for for $40 Bucks!? I am supremely satisfied as of now with these head phones, they are an actual speaker type, and they're wireless, and I can use them to make phone calls too! Much more than I expected to end up with for work music. My one minor beef: after pushing the call button on the phones, I am not able to give some voice commands to Droid, i.e: "Text", "Listen To" "Go To", "Navigate" etc.. but I AM able to use the "Call" command and the recognition seems to be as accurate as anything else voice activated. At this point that's all I got for cons... I will highly recommend these headphones to anyone looking for something similar. Kudos to Rocket Fish Mobile, (whom I'd never heard of before this) for making an outstanding product and offering it at an un-beatable price! Hey, Just buy em'. I promise.

A good product
Posted .I read the reviews of the different Bluetooth headphones and I decided to try the Rocketfish due to the good reviews. I will say that overall I have been happy with them. The one trick I have found with the behind the ear model is to keep them stretched when not in use. I keep mine on a lamp that stretches them out and makes them more comfortable to wear. When I had them in a drawer they hurt my ears because the headband was too tight. By stretching them out more they slip right on and I can wear them for hours. The sound quality is decent and the volume is good. I do find myself hitting buttons on them though when trying to adjust them. The volume and track selection buttons are almost impossible to miss when grabbing the left ear piece. They hold a charge and work for a long time. They have the older style mini USB port for charging which is disappointing since my phone has the micro USB port. The headset matched right up with my Samsung Galaxy S phone. When talking on the phone I do not get echos and I am able to clearly hear the other person. I have been told they sound clear. I have had them cutout a few times when the phone is in my front pocket and I turn my head a certain way but it isn't frequent enough to be a problem. They look goofy just wearing them walking around since the ear pads are rather large, but when exercising with them it is fine. These headphones are a great value and a good product. If they had the micro USB port and were slightly smaller I would have given them 5 stars. Not as good as my wired in ear buds but a great wireless solution.

Best Bluetooth Headphones Period!
Posted .These headphones rock. The way they fit to your head is like you were born with them. The sound quality is awesome. I mean i really didn't expect them to sound that great because of the compact size. But i was blown away. Plus you can customize them with 4 different effects. They sound like they should cost a lot more. And the rang is awesome as well 50 to 60 feet easy. You cant go wrong with these..........................

Love these! Work great with the DROID.
Posted .I was looking for a new set of headphones for my DROID. Purchased these on sale and I haven't regretted it one bit. I have many sets of headphones, bose in ear, koss porta pro, Skull Candy Hesh, etc.. and these are just as good as those well known headphones. The sound is very clear! I am able change songs (even on PANDORA) volume control, play, and pause all without taking my phone out of my pocket. Very good purchase. Works up to about 30 feet from your phone. One flaw is that the headband is stiff and results in a lack of portability. They just don't fit in your pocket.

AWESOME all the way around . .
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI've been looking for a good while for a bluetooth wireless headset that would allow me to listen to my tunes on my Blackberry Curve and be able to catch my calls/alerts/messages also. I sit on sometimes 3 conference calls in a day and need to keep the background/outside noise down in an office environment and then switch gears to tune out when concentrating on work. I am quite pleased with the AWESOME sound quality and I have not yet had to recharge in 3 days after its initial charge when I set up (which was effortless) I catch all of my alerts for texts/alarms/etc from my phone also and I have not any negative comments from the "person on the other end" during phone calls. Superior clarity and oh so functional for my needs. Exactly what I needed and far exceeded my expectations. Will definitely pass on my satisfaction to anyone who asks ;0)

Very good sound for a bluetooth headset
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI bought this headset primarily to use with my smartphone. Since I sometimes listen to music on my phone, and since I could also use this headset with my Mac, I wanted good audio quality. These sound VERY good. Not "audiophile" good, but MUCH better than a Motorola stereo bluetooth headset that I tried. Because I have some hearing impairment, I need a little more volume than average. Again, this headset is GREAT. I rarely use it at full volume. I liked the headset so much that I bought a bluetooth "sender" to plug into the headphone jack on my TV. Now I have a great set of wireless stereo headphones that I can use for everything! Sometimes the headset "forgets" a device, and I have to pair them again. I don't know if that is typical of bluetooth devices, or if I'm doing something wrong. It's not a major problem, however. Just an inconvenience. The ONLY other negative worth mentioning is that the mic on the headset evidently does not pick up as well as the mic on my phone. Of all the people I have called using the headset, only one has complained about the low volume...so it must not be too bad.

Great Value, Good Quality, Very Useful
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendGot it on sale for $39 plus tax. Took it back after noticing that the usb charge connection was too loose. Best Buy's Tech Geek and I both complained about the product's ever so loose connection; they decided to exchange it for another one; while waiting, the Geek and I continued to chat while playing with the connector; then suddenly the usb jammed into the socket with some force; he and I both realized that we were being too wimpish with the connection and all it needed was a hard push to set it in snugly. I write this, because I noticed a review mentioning that this product had a loose connection, but I think from my own experience that it was probably because the reviewer could not imagine having to put so much force into connecting it, that he never really plugged it in the way it was supposed to. I've now used it for over a month. Three of the five equalizer settings are very useful, but the other two, I don't know why anyone would want to use them. Its bass is impressive, but nothing like the wired set (expensive) I use at home. The battery life is incredible; I have not had to recharge it during the day, not once. Well, it's only been about a month, so who knows later? The fit is what I expected; no more/less comfortable than other behind the neck style headsets I use as my laptop headsets; I stretched it and managed to ever so slightly reshape the plastic band as much as I could, to what is now perfect for my above average head size. The controls do exactly what they are supposed to do, but when I tried syncing it to another device at the same time, some of the controls (forward/backward) did not work. So, I'm now only using it synced with an iPhone 4 only. After I let other people try out this Bluetooth headset, all (I mean everyone, but my wife) my friends and associates ask me how much it cost (all impressed with the price) and where to get it (I'm abroad now and they want me to pick one up for them next time, or they are now shopping around for a Bluetooth headset). The connection is great when I have the iPhone on a table/desk and I walk around the house/office, but for whatever the reason, when the iPhone is in my (left) pocket, there are times when there is a glitch whenever I turn to the right; I tried to make sure that the iPhone is standing up straight (transmitter, I noticed is on top of the phone), but still had some problems; but most of the times, it's fine; is it the material of my pants that affect the signal? Probably not, but I don't know, I'm not too tech proficient. The mic works well enough, but there is sacrifice compared to holding the phone up against your ear. Oh, there was a slight rattle with the first pair that I took back, but the current one does not; by the time the Geek and I figured out that there was nothing wrong with the usb connection, the other Geek had brought over the new one with all the paperwork done on it, so I took the new one. I don't like to write reviews (not one single review for any of the 92 iPhone apps so far). The reason is because I'm too long winded, as proven herein. But I got this email from Best Buy asking me to review, and I decided I should get it done, before they continue to email me until I do, and I really like this product, especially for the price. I just wanted to have a cheap trial and error kind of thing for my business trip, but now I either have it on my ears or around my neck, throughout the whole day. With this product, why would anyone want to stick the wired ear buds into one's ears that gradually fall off, hurt your ears, and/or get tangled with anything that comes between your ears and the device? I've wasted over 30 minutes writing this review; I'm not going to write another review for anything!

I'd buy these again.
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI tried these Rocketfish wireless headphones because I'm sick to death of getting tangled in or being tethered to wired headphones at work and at the gym. The price of Rocketfish headphones is better, compared to pricier sets by other manufacturers at 100 dollars and up. For the money, these headphones pretty much deliver. However, I wear these headphones for long periods and sometimes they can rub and get irritating pretty soon into wearing them. I move them around a bit and that helps. (But then again, any headphones can get irritating with long periods of use.) These do stay on my ears/head nice and snug though- perfect for my gym workouts And the sound quality is awesome. There are different sound modes and they are all good and helpful for enriching different kinds of music. External, environmental noise is pretty much muffled out, too. The only thing you have to deal with (in comparison to wired headphones) is occasional quick blips of interruption to sound because of the wireless thing.
Q: QuestionHow can i pair rocketfish RF-MAB2 to my samsung galaxy s2 phone.I bought a new rocketfish RF-MAB2 today and when i tried to pair it with my galaxy s2 phone, my phone cant find the head set. what can i do now.
Asked by rauxz.
- A:Answer I had the same problem with my Samsung Vibrant. You have to make sure the Bluetooth in your phone is on. On your phone: Click on Settings, Wireless and Network, Bluetooth settings, check Turn on Bluetooth. Then click on "Scan Devices". On your headphones: Push down on the phone logo and keep pushing down. The LED light will rapidly blink red and blue. Your phone should list the bluetooth device RF-MAB2 as paired.

Q: Question4th gen itouch compatible?I use these with my 2nd gen itouch, and have really enjoyed them. I've just purchased the 4th gen touch, but the headphones are undiscoverable. Is this something that can be corrected? Is my headset compatible with the 4th gen itouch?
Asked by Steve.
- A:Answer With your headset turned off, press and hold the talk button (looks like the top of a circle) for six seconds. The blue and red LEDs flash rapidly. This should put your headset into discovery mode so that your 4th gen ipod touch can find the headset.
