- Answer I installed in my Insignia soundbar to connect the Insignia subwoofer wirelessly. Thats all I needed..no transmitter or any of that.

- Answer No, this will only fit compatible home theater devices such as recievers and sound bars. This transmits wireless audio but not comptuter networking data.
