The case will likely do it's job fine. The one this replaced had better protection of the iPhone 5 face than this one does. Although it is made with very good materials to absorb shock, it's design is weak by not allowing enough material to cover the face of the phone. In the event of a perfect drop to the floor evenly face down, the phone face may easily be cracked. I would think there is a better design out there somewhere for this phone.

I really like the size of this case, because I like to carry my phone in my front pocket. I also has the rubber grip which does not allow it to be slippery in you hand even in the cold weather offering some protection against accidental drops.
