- A:Answer The only thing on it that would use power when nothing is plugged in to the USB slot is the blue LED light. Technically it could drain the battery, but it would take months, if not years, to do so.

- A:Answer Ok, it definitely does not come out "with ease" as a few people have attested to! I don't think it's ever coming out of the socket in my (2004 Subaru Forester) unless I pry it out with a tool of some kind.
