Cut cable. This is all ya need. Save the $!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used $25 in points, making this cost me $14. It has everything ya need and then some. Cut that cable out of your life and you'll never look back! My cable bill went from $135 to $49 (internet only). I have Spectrum which has a base speed of 100 mb/s speed. I'll never look back! Oh and that Curbside Pickup from BestBuy N Canton is pretty nice!

Great mini streaming box
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 2 of these Roku Premiere boxes for my dad, so he could ditch cable and start saving a ton monthly. Easy to setup and use, he is now streaming tv like a pro, at half the price of cable tv with no extra monthly equipment charges. My dad is 72 and has now problem navigating through the Roku's menu and apps for streaming.

Awesome Streaming Boxa
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really easy to setup and use. Love the included tape to mount it to something. Got mine mounted to the side of my mantle. Remote is simple to use and it is easy to add all your accounts and channels. Video quality is superior. Love the compact size, makes it easy to put anywhere without taking up too much space. Love the wide variety of channels and content. Something for everyone. Highly recommend.

We’re addicted to our Roku!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely Love this thing! Soooo much better than my Google Chrome. My husband and I have both downloaded the remote onto our phones- WHAT A TREAT-!! That enables us to use voice commands and see the controls in the dark. It also allows us to scroll through all Roku has to offer on our mobile devices. We can also add on channels we already watch. We’re addicted.

Great streaming device
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Roku device is really good and I really like them but there's a downside for but I'm going to save it for last. The first thing I like to point out is that it has Dolby Atmos and DTS audio supported to those who have a sound bar and two satellite speakers and one sub hooked up to a TV, I took my audio settings and they work on 5.1 surround sound systems straight out of the Box if you have a soundbar connected to it. So once you click on a home screen before you go to the app section, there's no ads. It's a simple to set up and it uses just my phone just to sign in to my roku account, getting out of apps downloaded for example YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon prime video and so on and so on. Once when I got the Roku from the mail, the box is very simple when I open it, very good unboxing experience, it's not hard to take things out. The battery installation for the controller a super easy and simple, the plus sign in both sides of the battery enclosure is in the same side even though the minus are doing the same side too. That's what other brand should do on the TV market, Soundbar market, and streaming devices market such as a fire stick from Amazon or a Mi Box S from Xiaomi. Now here are the cons: First off let's take a look of the app support, one of everybody else's favorite video game live streaming app called twitch.tv is not supported even though it used to be beck then. Next once you are about to select an app on your home screen, there is an ad in the right of the screen which is not a big deal to me but it is for some people, No Google Assistant supported even though it is supported on google home as you can still control your vocal with an external Google Assistant speaker in my case it is the first generation of Google home mini. There is no way you can put your own Google photos or Amazon photos to the screensaver even though that Chromecast does let you. When you hit play on any video, movies, and casting music from the phone to the TV via Spotify, there is a delay and cut the first two seconds of the audio. But I don't know if it's a soundbar thing or Roku's on software. It may be different if you don't have a soundbar that case it is. Overall, is a really good experience, it looked very good and plays nicely with my soundbar. I really like this because it's a simple, the most odd for streaming box I could find for cheap without having to go to the Apple TV route even though I have an Android phone.

I love my Roku stick!!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am proud to say that I am a cord cutter!! I can't believe that I can get so much tv for so little price! I bought Roku for my living room, bedroom and I'm gonna purchase another one for a Christmas gift for my daughter and grandson! You can't go wrong with Roku, it's all the tv that you need and then some!!!!

Good performance at a decent price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid equipment..,much better than any of the lower models. I have 4 of these running my sports bar. I like AppleTVs, but they’re too expensive to have one all of my TVs. Prefer the Roku Premiers over the Amazon Firestick

Roku Premiere
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product! I instantly saved money on my cable bill. The Roku Premier does what I need, but I wish it would control volume. I need to use a separate remote for that.

Q: QuestionWhat channels can I see with roku and what’s the fee per month
Asked by Gabe.
- A:Answer Once you install Roku there is no other expense and has many Free channels you can download. We wanted our local channels plus certain news channel, sports, Smithsonian, TCM, and others so we downloaded YouTube TV which is $49/month. But if you just want movies there are lots of options out there EX: Pluto that are free. We were paying over $200/mo for cable. Now we pay $45/mo for Internet and $49/mo for YouTube TV. We love it.

Q: QuestionI PAY SPECTRUM A MONTHLY FEE FOR A "DIGITAL ADAPTER". I HAVE A VIZIO SMART TV. DO I NEED SPECTRUM'S DIGITAL ADAPTER? If so will a Roku Premier replace the need for a digital adapter from Spectrum?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I use the Roku to watch Spectrum in our bedroom on a Visio 46” tv. It works well. You just have to download the Spectrum app and use your WiFi to connect.

Q: Questioni am renting the cable box and is paying a monthly rent. if i install a premium roku do i still need the cable box or can i cancel it and return to txfinily. thanks
Asked by raja.
- A:Answer You need one main Xfinity box (like the DVR in the living room) on your wireless network, Then any satellite boxes for other tv's around the house can all be replaced with a Roku Express or Premium with the Xfinity Stream app available for download. You can then return those boxes to Comcast and save $10 a month/each. FYI : Many Samsung TV's now have the Xfinity Stream app available. Also soon LG and Sony.

Q: QuestionIs the Xfinity streaming app available on roku for the tv?
Asked by Lyzz.
- A:Answer Yes, I purchased one 4K and three Express Roku streaming devices just to replace additional box rental fees from Comcast. The app works just like your channel guide on the rental boxes, other than you don't have numbers to enter in directly. You need to know the channel you are heading to or it takes a while. I just keep adding the most common channels I use to favorites to keep it simplified. It is about a 30 second delay from the cable box, so not too bad. When watching on your home network you are able to view the entire program library you would get from a cable box. On-Demand. DVR. Premium channels. So, it takes time to get used to but pays for itself very quickly.

Q: QuestionI've seen some reviews mention that this product gets warm. Is there an on/off switch with it? Has anyone experienced heat issues and does it concern them? Thanks.
Asked by JacinEL.
- A:Answer Yes this product does get warm. There is no on/off switch, however I found that if you have an USB port on your TV you can plug the power cord into that and it will act as an on/off switch when you turn the TV on and off.
