I purchased these after finding that these were an active noise cancellation headphone that fit the budget. I wanted something that would block out ambient noise and have decent sound quality and comfort. These headphones arrived nicely packaged and even came with a hard travel case. It is a nice looking headphone with a decent build quality more closely to the cheaper side, but I've seen worse. The sound is fine with the ability to use the headphones, with or without a battery, but when the active noise cancellation is turned on, the sound is more full with more bass response and slightly amplified. I wouldn't call the sound amazing but it is definitely not bad. Its very good for the price and did not sound over powering or weak. The noise cancellation was better than I had anticipated, but no where near bose. If you want to best active noise cancelling and comfort get the bose. Unfortunately the sound quality and noise cancellation wasn't enough for me to like the headphones. I take comfort as a deal breaker and these were mediocre at best. The earcups do seal over the ear, but my ears touched the inside of the drivers and cause slight irritation and discomfort for me after about 30-40 minutes. I think I have slightly larger ears than most and also do have many other headphones to compare it to, but for me the discomfort was too much of a hindrance for me to enjoy the peace and quiet of the active noise cancellation. I might recommend these to someone who wants some decent active noise cancellation on a budget, but for me, I will have to continue to search for another pair that meets my criteria and budget.
