My friend is deaf with hearing aids in both. This was perfect for use with Kindle and Audible.

I purchased these headphones to use some soon-to-be-expired Rewards Certificates and I liked the price point. To check them out I listened to the title track of The Alan Parsons Project "I Robot" album. These headphones do sound good - especially the upper frequencies. They were not comfortable - on my head anyway. The "on ear" design (the ear pads measure 2.5" wide by 3" tall) were a new experience to me and one I can't say I like. To give the product a fair shot I used them last night to listen to a 99 minute movie. It was definitely not a comfortable listening experience for myself. My old set of headphones have ear pads that measure 3.5" wide by 4.5" tall and are quite comfortable by comparison. I wish the product had been available in stores to try out. Regardless of the price point I'm sure I would have given them a pass. Lessons learned: 1) Pay close attention the the product description. The size of the ear pads should be part of any headphone's specifications. It was not with this product 2) With something worn as intimately as a set of headphones, find a way to be able to try them out before buying. I gave the product 2 stars because they do sound good - half of the desired equation when selecting a set of headphones. One last note: The cord for this product measured only about 6 feet - not the 8.2 feet given in the product description.
