I keep buying umbrellas and they keep breaking and don't last long. I came across the Samsonite -Windguard and it seemed pretty sturdy but still I was skeptical about it. Anyway I did purchase it and I am glad I did. It's one of the best I've purchased before. It is sturdy as I was hoping and I'm pretty sure it will last long enough unlike the previous ones I've purchased. I've used it several time now in heavy rain and strong winds without any issue. Thinking of buying more in the future and highly recommend to others.

This umbrella unfolds to a good size yet is still not too large to pack or place into a tote. We have had no wind and rain since I purchased it so I cannot comment on the windproof factor, but it does appear to be sturdier than any other umbrella I have ever owned.

I ordered the blue and is exactly as pictured online. Was specifically looking for a double cloth type, sturdy umbrella for the hot sun and occasional rain in Texas. I plan to order another one in another color,
