||Posted .This fridge has the sleek lines I love and functionality that I needed. I have only had it for a month but everything is working as it should. I love the look without handles. The auto fill water pitcher is amazing and keeps me hydrated with infused water 24/7. Ice maker works fine but takes a bit more time to make and drop ice but I have no issue with that. I love how the flexible the storage and shelves are and extra deli drawer is perfect. Grab and go without opening up the whole fridge. I am completely satisfied with the purchase and with Best Buy, especially my sales person Julie.

||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.Bought the fridge more than two years ago. Little background, no kids no pets. The fridge aesthetically looks great, and works well, However, everything else about it is second hand. I have geek squad and thank God for that, multiple occasions the ice maker has been freezing over or breaking, finally Samsung has a bulletin where they have to replace the ice maker, its computer and tow other parts. Whats really disappointing about this fridge the plastic trim of all the drawers is cracking and breaking. First year samsung has replaced the doors after the first year its a cosmetic issue and they don't cover it. Nor does Geek squad. Due to these reasons this fridge is sub par and i would not recommend it to anyone.

Love This Fridge!
||Posted .I am very pleased with my new refrigerator. One of my favorite things is that it has no handles. It is very modern looking and I don't have to worry about handles coming loose. I like the middle drawer that can be used as a wine chiller.

Excellent for our new needs
||Posted .We just moved into a new house that had an opening for a counter depth refrigerator, this fits wonderfully! The Ice Maker / Water dispenser is much better than ones before. It fits with our decor much better since the handles are hidden! We've had it for 3 weeks and everything has been great!

- A:Answer Hi, I have the Samsung fridge with the self-filling pitcher inside and noticed (and did) all the same things noted in the comments. After a while the pitcher gets very moldy. I threw it in the dishwasher and the pitcher part melted so I couldn’t put the top back on. The replacement pitcher is $100 (ridiculous). But what I decided to try was to remelt (heat up) the pitcher and bend the plastic back so that the top fit again. IT WORKED! I first tried to run it through the dishwasher and then remold it, but it didn’t get hot enough. I then boiled a large pot of water, put the top of the pitcher in it until it became pliable, slid the top into the hot plastic and ran it under cold water to harden it in place. The tops back on, and it works in the fridge. The melting incident is unnoticeable. Thank goodness because I didn’t want to spend $100 on a plastic pitcher, but it is a key feature of the fridge. Just wanted to post this in case it helps someone else. Samsung should fix the moldy/melting pitcher issue.

- A:Answer I bought this fridge sight unseen and was curious about how I would like the recessed handles as well. I've had this fridge for almost a month, and I can say that I love them (and the fridge) now (or maybe my old fridge was just so bad I don't know any better :)). Having two young children that love to smear their hands all over the front of it, the recessed handles make it so much easier to clean. It looks really sharp as well. The extra couple of inches gained by not having the handles in the front make a big space difference in my kitchen at least. Hope this helps!

Q: QuestionI'm curious about about the flex zone drawer. It seems like you actually lose storage space for what is basically a gimmick. Anyone have any thoughts?

- A:Answer I use the flex zone for soft drinks, beer, and meats and cheese for sandwiches. You can stack a lot of soda/beer cans along the sides of this drawer. This is my go to drawer for quick meals and snacks, and I don't need to open the rest of the refrigerator and waste energy costs. It's like going to a deli-snack bar while watching a ball game or movie. You can make veggie, meat, or cheese trays to fit in there too! I love it!

- A:Answer The unit is 35 and 3/4 inches wide. If you're installing next to a wall, you'll need a minimum clearance of 3 and 3/4 inches for the door.
