Samsung - 28.1 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water - Stainless steel

So far this has been a great fridge and we are glad we bought it. Storage capacity is outstanding in this thing. The french door system is great for accessing all or specific sides of the fridge. A huge bonus is the two adjustable shelves on each side of the fridge! The individually controlled storage drawers are perfect for what we need with a great capacity which helps keep the inside well organized. Lighting is consistent and bright enough to see every corner inside. The water filter is extremely easy to access and change out when needed. The ice dispenser takes while to fill up initially, but once it does, it has worked perfect so far. The controls for the ice and water dispensers, temperature settings, Lighting settings, alarm settings, and energy settings are extremely easy to use and very conveniently laid out. It is a very clean look that helps keep the entire fridge looking good. All the handles are very sturdy, the doors open and close very well (actually easier when loaded versus an empty store display). We are overall very happy with this purchase. We had Best Buy install all our appliances and everything went very smoothly and professionally.

I wanted a side by side fridge that was quiet and has through the door ice and water. I looked at ratings and picked this Samsung unit. The first one we received spit a screw onto the floor from the ice maker and the Stainless steel doors didn't match, one was horizontal brushed pattern and the other vertical brushed. The store recommended we have it replaced. The new one came yesterday. We love it it is quiet and looks much better with both doors having horizontal brush pattern. I would recommend this fridge. The first delivery crew as well as the the store sales person said you couldn't remove the ice bin to get a hand full of ice cubes, the second delivery crew showed us how to remove the ice bin which pleases me. The latch to pull out the ice cube storage drawer is not obvious. I am showing a picture of the drawer partially pulled out. It has twin cooling and very nice bright LED lights in both the freezer and fridge. The front panel controls are very easy to see and use. The water filter is very convenient being in the front of the fridge. The overall food storage is very well designed. I definitely recommend this fridge.

The refrigerator is very nice, plenty of room, and I only deducted 1 star because as others have said it is a little louder than my last one, but not terrible........but online buyers beware!! Best Buy credit card would place a pending charge when the order was placed, and then a second pending charge a few days later which resulted in over 4000.00 of pending charges which put me over my limit, so they cancelled my order!! I called to complain, put in another order after they said it would be fine, and it auto cancelled again!! I ended up changing the payment method by putting it on another card with a much higher limit to avoid another cancellation!! I have ordered high dollar Nikon cameras and never was double charged, so why the problem with an appliance? Then after all that, it went on sale for 750.00 cheaper and I had to call them for a price match lol... rant off...anyway it’s a good fridge, but you better use a high limit credit card.

Where do I begin with this utter piece of TRASH that Samsung decided to call a refrigerator. This refrigerator was purchased new in Nov 2015 along with an entire kitchen suite of Samsung appliances AND a Samsung front load washer and dryer combo. Of the numerous, and I mean numerous problems we've had with all of these Samsung appliances; this "refrigerator" certainly takes the cake for worst appliance I have ever owned. Throughout the course of my 5 year ownership of this refrigerator I have had Multiple service calls on this refrigerator. There are 2 main critical design flaws with this refrigerator. 1. Ice continuously builds up around the top of the compressor lines that enter the refrigerator. These are located behind a plastic panel at the back of the refrigerator. This ice builds up and blocks the primary fan from circulating cold air into the refrigerator. Once this happens everything is 'luke-warm' inside but this "intelligent" refrigerator still thinks its cold inside because the temperature probe is not actually located inside the refrigerator. I have had all the manufacturer's recommended "fixes" for this completed several times over and nothing solves this problem. We have tried new condenser line sensor, main board replacement, installing of the new, longer drain probe for the evaporator heating element, and about a few different back panel replacements with ZERO effectiveness. This #1 issue is a material weakness to the design of this refrigerator, Samsung is fully aware of this issue and CONTINUES to sell this design to US consumers. This should warrant a class action lawsuit for this reason alone. 2. The ice maker fails to drop ice into the tray because it freezes to the side of the ice maker. This is a well documented issue as well and there is no fix for this design: STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS.

After reading reviews for over a month and in need for a new refigerator we decided to buy the Samsung 36" wide French door model with water and ice despensor. The led lighting is absolutely incredible from what we were use to, also the adjustable shelves are great to allow for taller products in the fridge. Some reviews mention this being a noise fridge, I would have to completely dissagree with that. The only time any noise can be heard is when new ice cubes are falling into the ice bucket. I guess some ppl will always find something to complain about. I highly recommend this product!

We love the wide openings and shelves with the double-doors. The bottom freezer is huge, has plenty of space. The two adjustable shelves are great also. The one by the ice cube holder flips up to allow for large bottles of soda (or wine) and the top right one has a half-slide back feature that allows the same for the shelf below it. Lots of space on the doors inside and both doors! The only minor complaint is the water dispenser comes out fast (which is great!) but the nozzle points slightly to the back so make sure your water bottle is lined up or you're going to a quick shower ;) Great fridge and I would highly recommend.

So far, we totally love this fridge. It is styled beautifully, has an absolute ton of space, and everything seems to be working perfectly. I saw a lot of negative reviews about the ice maker, but have not experienced any problems with it. Sometimes I think people just want to find something to complain about. It makes ice, it dispenses ice... what else does it need to do? I love the fridge, and have now ordered the matching range and microwave.

Plenty of space for all you necessary food. Water from front is angled which is good but also splashes a lot. Also it shows every speck and fingerprint. I was expecting it so I’m not surprised, but every little thing marks it up.
