excelent TV for the price
|Posted .I did a lot of shopping around, for the combination of quality, size and of course price. This Samsung fit all of that. I actually found this exact model at Costco for a really good price, but then I found it at Best Buy for $10 less. Plus, I trust Best Buy to stand behind what they sell. So it was an easy choice. I bought a movable bracket, which this TV fit perfectly. it was an easy install, and boom, I was online watching Netflix, YouTube, and listening to Pandora. Oh, and I watched some Cable TV too. The only reservation I have is a previous Samsung TV I had died due to a pad power supply after about 6 years. A known (but not resolved) issue for that model. But the price on this TV was so affordable, if it only lasts 6 to 8 years, I will still have gotten my monies worth.

AMAZING TV! GREAT picture!
|Posted .I was looking to upgrade my bedroom TV and have always loved Samsung TVs (but never owned one). I went to the store and thought this looked too small (40") and almost didn't buy it... But I'm so glad I did.. it's the PERFECT size for my bedroom and the picture quality and SmartHub features are SO awesome! If you have Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, HBO Go, etc etc all those apps are right on the TV and is SUPER convenient. I use the Netflix app all the time, it's so nice to have built in the TV. I also have my Playstation 4 hooked up to this as well and the picture quality is SUPERB! When I got it home and hooked up with the PS4..my brother and I were BLOWN away by the picture quality and that's no exaggeration. (I was replacing a 4-5 year old LCD that was very outdated and had an awful picture) I got this on sale for $349.99 and felt I got an absolute steal! $350 for a 40" Samsung SMART TV!?!?! How could you go wrong?? It's amazing to me how inexpensive QUALITY TVs are now.

Nice!
|Posted .My son needed a tv for his livingroom and he wanted a smart tv so i bought a 32 inch and it was too small so he returned it and came across this one online before christmas for $319. Good picture and sound. The only problem(app wise) is that i guess since its a 2015 model there are no samsung apps to use my generic tablet for screen mirroring and keyboard. The remote is kinda tricky to access the app hub but its worth it.

Great dorm room TV
|Posted .Got this TV for my daughter going away to college. She loves it; it was a great size and had all the features she needs. Hooked up her roommate's PS4 for gaming and she says it has good graphics. She watches Netflix on it too. We bought it on sale so it ended up as a great deal for us!

Good TV for the price point
|Posted .Purchased 2 for bedrooms. Wall mounted, they are neat. Picture quality and sound are decent enough for the price point but not quite as crisp as I would have liked. Overall a good purchase.

Q: Questionwhat is the diffirence between 120 and 60 motion speed
Asked by jojo.
- A:Answer Motion rate refers to the number of frames per second that a TV is capable of displaying. The higher the motion rate, the "smoother" the motion is going to be for the TV. However, it's really debatable whether or not there is any noticeable difference between watching TV in 60 Hz or 120 Hz. The only situation where you should really care about it is if you're using your TV as a monitor for a gaming PC. High-end gaming PCs that play games at higher than 60 FPS will experience visual artifacts and "screen-tearing" if you try to play them on a monitor that's incapable of displaying the frames as fast as the system is feeding them. You'll be fine playing on consoles, because they don't play any games at higher than 60 FPS.

Q: QuestionWhy does my new Samsung Smart TV show black lines at both the top and bottom of the screen?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Go into Menu settings and adjust the display size to zoom 1 (zoom 2 may be too much zoom and you'll lose info off the screen). The aspect ratio defaults at 16:9 and a 4:3 picture will have black bars, so just adjust it properly or live with the bars

Q: QuestionI am going to buy a Smart TV - 1008 or higher resolution, 40 inches, but I want your technician to install it. How much extra will that cost?
Asked by Juaneco.
- A:Answer Hi, I'm a sales consultant at Best Buy. I recommend you go into the store to speak with a Blue Shirt about the possibility of an In-Home setup. Depending on how much work they have to do to mount a TV or just hook cables up it could range from $50-$150 for simple setups or mounts. Again, I would go to store to get an exact quote of what you want done. They can schedule an installation in store as well.
