Having just moved into our new home, I purchased this washer and have fallen in love with it. The many different cycles it has. It’s a really good buy!

Purchased August 2017 in less than a year we started seeing small "brownish" stains on some of our wash. Didn't think much about it, followed direction doing clean cycle and moved on. Another week or so the brown stains came back and we went through the same procedure again. After a third time I started doing some research on the web and found "SOLUTION" actually the problem. It's not stains it was MOLD from inside the machine. I called Samsung and they sent a tech out to look at our unit the repair technician opened unit and we saw where the mold / stain coming from. It was the agitator at bottom a 2 piece unit and that is where I believe the flaw is. Water gets trapped between the pieces and mold forms, when you do "cleaning" cycle it may kill the mold which than comes out in the wash on your clothing. You will never get rid of it all unless you change the agitator unit. My experience has been very bad with the machine, but to Samsung credit they are taking care of it for us.

Love the sink basin feature. The huge 5.2 drum can hide stowaways. Comes with a rebate. Yahoo!

We purchased both the washer and dryer not even 6 months ago and we haven’t had a washer now for 3 weeks and geek squad has been here twice now to “fix” it even tried installing a brand new motor this morning with no luck. This will be now the third visit by them and 4th week with no washing machine!! The geek squad employee even told us Samsung washers and dryers are total crap and not to buy them! Best Buy will now be replacing our washing machine that is still basically brand new! I am totally disgusted with this entire experience. When you spend $2000 on a washer and dryer you would expect to get longer than 3 months use out of it.

Not only did the water not drain, pet hair, lint and dirt remained on the clothes and in the tub. Towels would come out heavy with a significant amount of water that I manually squeezed out before putting in the dryer. Speaking of the matching dryer, it took twice as long for me to dry clothes than my other dryer. I returned both within two weeks of delivery. Horrible. You just be very tall or use a grabber tool or step stool to reach the bottom of this big boy! That wasn’t a problem for me, but it may be for others.

I normally dont write reviews. I have had similar model of this for 3 years and it has mold issues every wash. We can hear drum floating in water as it's not draining after wash. Pictures show clear mold coming out every wash. I think it's a bad design samsung has not changed since this model came out. Detergent tray has mold too. I will not buy samsung brand washer or dryer again.
