||Posted .So many complaints and so many good reviews what to do? This range is great. No complaints. Too bad US companies can't make a stylish range. I replaced a 21 yr old GE smooth top that was just showing its age.
I would recommend this to a friendRated 5 out of 5 stars
Works great!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed.Works as good if not better than a gas stove. Glass top does need extra attention in regards to cleaning, we just need to ensure the bottom of the pots and pans are thoroughly clean. So far so good.

Top Shelf Range
||Posted .This range offers excellent cooking options from oven to stove top. Sleek styling really stands out in the kitchen. Top burners offer many small and large pot temperature choices. Fast boil for water is super fast to bring water to a boil. The oven itself has many superstar cooking choices. The broiler is very hot on hi & low settings and cooks very fast. This is our first dual convection oven and I love it. I baked a tray of meatballs for sauce and they cooked perfectly even with no burning in the convection mode. The spaciousness of the oven interior with three racks is awesome. I did use the steam clean option on some light spills and the wiped up quick and clean with a sponge. The oven light is bright and offers a great view of the food as it is cooking. The electronic control panel is easy to use with it's left to right functionality. The only negative is the tone of the timer chime is very low upon completion. I called Samsung and there is no adjustment to the sound level. The glass top is easy to clean. Use a good quality Weiman glass top cleaner and paper towel. Wipe with a damp paper towel and let dry. Then buff the top with a microfiber cloth and the glass top is returned to like new condition. Best Buy Geek Squad did the installation and did a fantastic job. The were super careful to avoid any scratches. The haul away of the old range no charge was great. We love Best Buy for it's pricing, no interest 18 month pay and great Geek Squad Service.

Q: Questionhow to clean the cooktopI have been reading a lot of reviews and I am ready to purchase. But, one customer image has made me nervous! does the cooktop clean easily? does it scratch easily? what do you use to clean it? Thanks
Asked by Kat.
- A:Answer I read all the reviews and Weiman's glass cook top cleaner is the winner! I use it, and it works very well. The cook top is very easy to clean. The manufacturer suggests cleaning after every use other wise the food that has spilled will be baked on the next time you turn on the burner .. so if you 're not into cleaning the top every time you use it then maybe get a conventional coil burner. The scratches come from low end pots and pans with uneven or gritty bottoms. Use proper cookware and you won't scratch the surface. My cookware is Belgique and Gordon Ramsay Royal Doulton: the stainless steel bottoms are clean, flat and heavy. Lighter pans are easy to move / spin and that can leave scratches. If you want to do some serious stirring just lift the pot, stir, and then place it back on the burner. Minor changes in the way you cook at the stove will keep it looking new for a very long time. Other hints: I bought two pretty trivets with rubber feet to sit on the stovetop so I can "land" baking sheets from the oven or other hot things without risking scratching the glass. I also use an oversize draining mat to keep the surface covered so I can use it when the burners are not on to land other items, like when I am emptying the dishwasher, etc. The mat gives me extra counter space

Q: QuestionDoes the range have a lip to cover poor granite cutting
Asked by Donna.
- A:Answer Hi Donna, The total width of the cook top on the NE58F9500SS Slide-in Range is 31", which includes 1/2" lip on each side to provide a seamless overhang on your counter tops. Whether it also helps to cover poor granite cutting depends on the distance from the edge where the cutting is evident. Please note that the body of the Range is 29-13/16" wide and the height is adjustable from 36" to 37-1/8". Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung

Q: Questiondimensions?I have 24in cabinets, I'm lost on how the depth is measured. Our current slide in is a 24in cooktop (measured from front of cooktop to back). It's a magic chef 6898vvv.... ??? Would be helpful to see dimensions of oven in pictural form.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer The measurements are given in the specifications section when you are viewing the product online. It shows 26 3/8" for the depth but that is from the front edge of the over door handle all the way to the back edge of the glasstop....but under the back edge of the glass top is a groove for your countertop to slide into. This gives you anywhere from 1/4" overlap to nearly 2 inches of overlap on your countertop. From there you position it so the front is flush and so there are no gaps around the glass top and countertops.

Q: QuestionMaximum weight on cooking topI have a 16 quart cooking pot used for canning. When full, weight is approximately 40+ lbs. Will the cooking top support without cracking?
Asked by CW.
- A:Answer Hi CW, The cook tops on Samsung electric ranges have been internally tested to support loads of up to 70 pounds. Thanks for your question, Ms. Samsung

Q: QuestionDoes this range slide in all the way to the wall?Do we need countertop behind the range or can this slide all the way to the wall? I know it comes with a filler. If we want it to go all the way to the wall do we need the filler?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Whether the NE58F9500SS will sit flush with your wall depends on several factors, including the location of your power supply and depth of the cabinets. Many people who don't have a counter or back splash behind the Range choose to use the filler kit for a finished look, and to help prevent crumbs or other items from falling behind the Range. Q: QuestionWill this oven need to be vented? My current slide-in range has a downdraft that vents to the outside of the house. Will this oven need to be vented as well? It doesn't appear to have a downdraft, so I wasn't sure.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I had a Jenaire that was center vented to outside and now with this range I have no vent at all. It will have to be added somehow overhead in the future. Pan searing and frying bacon or fish creates quite a mess in the air that needs to be cleaned up somehow or vented outside. With nothing, the house smells for days, and kitchen will get greasy.

Q: QuestionI have a cast iron skillet that says it's safe to use on glass top electric stoves. Is it safe to use cast iron on the flex duo glass top?
Asked by Nahshaie.
- A:Answer we have several "safe for cooktop" cast iron pans........THEY ALL SCRATCH IT. Recommend flat bottom stainless steel pans.
