Fantastic tv
||Posted .Best Tv I have ever had. Easy to setup and use. Picture was better than expected, channels change quickly. can view movies, picture, and music thru the usb connection. the 120 refresh rate combined with the 240 full motion flow makes judder nearly non existant. terrific job. 4 hdmi and usb ports are great. Can hook up all equipment. the full web browser is very slow compared to my laptop. Most content can be viewed but not like a computer. The web browser acts more like a tablet. I find it easier to use my laptop plugged into the hdmi and a wireless keyboard mouse on the laptop to view internet on the tv. If i had to pick a tv again, i would pick this one even though i am not satisfied with the internet browsing because the cost of a 240 refresh rate with 4 hdmi's was more than this. other than that, I am completely satisfied with the TV and would buy it again.

This purchase exceeded my expectations. Thanks Be
||Posted .I bought the Samsung 50" smart TV. I was really torn between this and a 55". I am so glad I got this one, because it fits my space perfectly, and there isn't a bad seat in the room with the attached swivel stand. (Nice touch!) The remote is a little confusing, and I'm looking into getting a tablet for the remote but I'm having trouble finding useful info about models and set-up. Anyway, the product was worth the price and Best Buy made the whole process so simple:.

Better picture than expected
||Posted .This is my first LCD/LED TV. Bought this to replace a plasma that had a beautiful picture when it was working. My hopes were not that high switching to an LCD screen, but I was pleasantly surprised with this TV. I have no real complaints about the picture quality, even when watching sports. Overall, I'm very happy with this TV. We watch broadcast TV, Netflix, and have a Chromecast hooked up to it for local content through Plex and also for internet content. Audio is through a receiver, so I have no idea what the TV speakers sound like. My one big complaint is that the TV guide service is terribly slow. It might take as long as five minutes to scroll through 40 channels, and the preview window blanks out each time the screen refreshes and takes 5 to 10 seconds bring the video back. Samsung really needs to do some work on this. Otherwise, it's a great guide that goes out a week or two. I have no problems with that part of it; it's just very slow scrolling through the listings.

Be careful when you run the setup/updates.
||Posted .This TV is excellent. My only advice is to be careful when running the setup. If you run the most recent update, you'll install a version of the software that forces you to log in every time you push the Netflix button, which basically renders it useless (having to use the remove to type is a huge pain). If, when you're setting up your TV for the first time, you skip this last update, you'll be fine (search Google for Samsung Smart TV Netflix and you'll see pages of discussion on this topic).

Samsung still the best
||Posted .Overall I've been extremely pleased with this TV. I wasn't initially sold on the smart features, but bought this model since it was on sale for less than the comparable "dumb" version. Now I'm drinking the Kool-Aid! I stream content and use several apps almost every day. My only complaint here is that when using the Smart features, sound plays through the TV speaker, not through my receiver. I'm still holding out hope that there's a way to fix this. The picture quality is great, as long as you tweak the anti-blur settings. The factory defaults gave me a queasy feeling when there was a lot of motion. Once I found the right settings, I don't have any complaints. All things considered, this is a great TV and worth the slight premium over some of the more bargain brands.

Great TV for the price
||Posted .I purchased this to replace an older plasma TV that was damaged by lightening and I have not been disappointed with it yet. Purchased this TV as an opened box item (I was told someone returned it because they thought it was too small!). The picture quality is awesome and the sound it pretty good especially since it is a slim designed TV (both better than my old plasma TV). It connects to the wireless internet in my home and works flawlessly when searching the internet and watching Netflix. It is very sleek and looks great mounted on my wall. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and for the price I don't think you can find a better version of this TV.

Superb picture and hooked up easily
||Posted .I have enjoyed this television for only a week now and have yet to test all its capabilities, but the picture and wifi connection is what is its all about. It has crisp color and clarity, and I have been ever so pleased with the amount of technology contained in this unit. I would definitely purchase it again and would readily refer it to others. The 1080 resolution was a requirement for me as well as the online video streaming since I have a membership to Amazon Prime with free movie downloads. I'll also be checking out Netflix in the very near future in that I am extremely tired of commercials!

slim tv. great picture. surprisingly good sound.
||Posted .This was my first smart tv and even though it was expensive I think it was worth it. It may be overkill for a bedroom but it works. It has crystal clear picture and sound. The hd picture is outstanding and even some of the netlfix and youtube videos that are not hd are remarkably clear. I was expecting it to have mediocre sound due to its size but it sounds great. I can't tell where they even fit the speakers but it is borderline surround sound. It can even hit some of the low bass notes. The only thing I wish it had was a keyboard for searching for things. Overall, this thingbis great.

Q: QuestionWould you advise hanging a Samsung 50" LED SMART HDTV over the FIREPLACE ?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer It wont make a difference as long as the fire is not directly in contact with the TV. They can handle a lot of heat and your fireplace should have enough thickness to it to dissipate an serious amounts of heat. Go for it ;)

Q: Questioncan I hook up external speakers for surround sound? It looks like a different Samsung TV that I was going to buy didn't have any place to add external speakers so I was wondering if this was has that feature.
Asked by Ang.
- A:Answer Well, the F6300 model will allow you both the optical and analog ports. Just so that it's clear, I've even added a photo to this response to help illustrate the two ways you can connect your TV to a receiver or Home Theater system. Q: Questionwhats the contrast ratio 2million:1? 200k:1 ??? it doesnt say.
Asked by jim1981.
- A:Answer Contrast Ratio measurements have certainly gotten high in numbers. Samsung now uses a CMR - Clear Motion Rate - measurement for measuring our panels instead of advertising a huge Contrast Ratio number. This makes our panel selection easy to choose from, as the CMR rating goes from 120 up to 1200. The CMR rating judges panels on three additional criteria: Panel refresh rate: Samsung's screen refresh rate significantly improves motion detail and resolution by sampling the image more frequently, leading to smoother, more fluid movement. Image processor: Samsung's proprietary image processing technology is faster and more responsive than conventional image processors, as it interpolates intermediate frames to smooth out the image. Backlight technology: Samsung's backlight regulates output precisely in synchronization with the screen refresh to lessen the time it is lit, reducing ghosting and motion blur.
