Spoil Yourself with the Samsung Q80T
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Such an amazing bright, smart 4K tv, with no glare screen, which isn’t available until you get to the Q80 series. The no glare was super important to us since it hangs across from a wall of Windows and we have several lights in the room. Its super easy to access all the apps you can possibly want and even has the ambient mode which allows you to display artwork when not watching tv. The whole family is loving watching movies together on this tv!

Nice...but too many dots.
|Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality2 out of 5Value3 out of 5Ease of Use3 out of 5It is a nice looking TV, but it is boxed up for return the day after receiving it. Many dots like in the image on the screen - too hard not to see them, even after calibration. But these 3 dots are the worst - and right in the middle of the screen. In bright, colorful scenes it is not noticeable, but in dark scenes very noticeable.

Great TV, so-so warranty.
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5The TV is beautiful. The only issue I have with the TV is that the warranty from the manufacturer is so short - only 90 days. We purchased online and I opted to get Geek Squad coverage because of the (what I consider to be) poor warranty coverage. Geek Squad was initially priced at $159.99 but when I went to check out they pulled a fast one and raised the price to $179.99. I could not find a way to get back to the original, lower price so I just held my nose and made the purchase. I'm quite unhappy with BB for doing this, though.

More than satisfied,....
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Hello, As a construction exec I understand the difficulty and challenges of running a successful operation. The Best Buy techs that completed the TV and related components were terrific. They displayed an expert ability from install through my walkthrough and combined their technical expertise with an advanced understanding of my ability, or lack thereof regarding the device operation. I learned quickly due to their teaching methods and compliment both Trevor and Andreas for their patience and professionalism. With over 600 people under my direct supervision I have come to realize how important it is to have trustworthy individuals representing the company. I believe, based upon my own experience, you have 2 of the best. I would be remiss if I did not mention the salesman Jim who did initial walkthrough. His assessment of the old system, guidance through my wish list, ordering and delivery of components and precise pricing made this experience as to to perfect as could be possible. I am a long time customer and based upon my most recent experience I will continue to use Best Buy and the Geek Squad for my electronic needs. Last but not least, I judge today from both a customer and manager perspective, from start to finish from Jim through Trevor and Andreas, I am more than satisfied, they all get an A+. ThankYou

A Great TV with a slight caveat
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5If you want freesync, you need to go for a bigger size than this one. Other than that, fantastic TV. Took a bit of adjusting. But, things look fantastic from watching YouTube in 4K to playing retro games through proper upscalers. Game mode works great with minimal latency in games.

Excellent 4K TV
|Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I really like Samsung UHD TVs - this is my second, the other a 55" RU8000, and this one meets my expectations completely. I really like the upscaling on non-4K source material.

Nothing special. Just another Samsung
|Posted .Owned for 3 months when reviewed. No, I would not recommend this to a friendSo far so good. Color, sound, etc all as advertised. It’s just another Samsung tv to me. If it’s like all the previous “new” Samsung models it’ll last two years. Definitely wasn’t my first choice but it is nice...for two years fingers crossed.

Samsung 50" Class Q80T - Great picture and sound
|Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5The picture quality of this model is excellent and so is its sound. I do find operating the remote control device to be a bit of a challenge. It isn't as intuitive as I would like but that is my opinion. Overall, it is a pricier model but the quality demands it.
