By far, The best TV out right now!!!!
Posted .This is my first time writing a review, so I'll start by saying that I was a BIG fan of plasma's tv's, especially Panasonic. That was untill LED TV's came out. 5 years ago I bought a 50" Panasonic and it was the best out there at the time and for about three years then it was time for a upgrade. So three months ago I bought the 65" Panasonic but the colors where not accurate and bluray movies looked to grainy. That went back, LOL... Then I saw the UN55B7000 that two of my brother in laws had bought and I fell in love.... So I went and bought the UN55B8000 and it had a even better picture, 240 Hz and all the other goodies. But then I saw that the UN55C8000 was coming out and it had pintpoint dimming wich is amazing and 3D, something u will enjoy in the future so good to have. Ohhhh Yeahhh dont forget about the 8million to 1 contrast. So just last week I exchanged it for this one. The best thing I've ever done. You get the deep blacks from a plasma tv but with cristal clear & bright picture all in the same scene. It's incredible. The AllShare technology is great u can connect to ur laptop and play ur music all wireless its a neat future when u have ur tv connected with a sterio system. Dont forget to download the free control app for ur iphone it works geat. especially for the keyboard when ur on the net. There is no light bleed at all that is a big pluss compared to the older models I've seen as I told u earlier. 1080p content looks amazing no judder at all. I dont get it on bluray or my cable its all the same. I have to say that comcast has improved verry much u have to get their new HD boxes, it makes non HD channels look really good and HD channels cristal clear, then having this tv even better. Trust me u have to see it for ur self. This Tv is gonna be hard to beat so expect it to rule for a while.

Phenomenal Picture
Posted .The picture on this TV is truly amazing, the detail that comes through and makes it look like whatever you watching are literally sitting in the room with you. Movies are chrystal clear and sports are out of this world. Definitely worth the money. When I bought it a month ago I was fortunate that it came with the BD-6900 3D Blu Ray player, glasses as well as a free wireless adapter as part of the package. I have it all going through my Pioneer receiver and Klipsch speakers and it sounds as good as it looks! Everyone who has seen it is amazed at the clarity.

5 stars "Best TV on the market right now!
Posted .Put it like this i sold my LG 55LX9500 to get this TV,i compared the 3D on the LG and this Samsung TV and this TV is clearly better. the 3D effects on this TV seems to pop out more.with the LG it wasn't as good, don't get me wrong the LG TV had the seamless border and 480Hz! and dont be fooled by LG's 480Hz they're aint really much of a difference between 480Hz and 240Hz u cant even tell, and the tv was slacking in the 3D department! i personally think this is the best LED 3-D plasma tv on the market right now. so many features u can play with, like the internet TV was a nice touch, renting Netflix and VUDU movies so much more convenient! you can even log on to facebook thru the tv! The stainless steel finish is just down right sexy to look at even the remote is stainless steel! Pros: the picture is beautiful the the colors are phenomenal, the deep blacks and bright whites really makes watching blu-rays movies really fun to watch! I have a ps-3 and i love playing GT5 on 3-D on this tv,the 3-D effects really stands out! Cons: Calibrating the tv to your liking is kinda frustrating, adjusting the dimness and brightness can be a little tough, so i did minor tweaks and it still looks great no matter what you adjust it to!

I May Have Gone To 3D Hi Def Heaven ....
Posted .When my 52LNC750 gave up the ghost for the third time I took advantage of the Black Tie Warranty and decided to bite the bullet and upgrade to a LED - LCD but I was not sure which one really caught my eye. After several trips to the West Melbourne Best Buy and talking with some of the most patient and knowledgeable associates I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with, I decided that the 8000 series was the way to go. The difference between the 7000 series and the 8000 series is the difference between watching 3D Hi Definition TV and really EXPERIENCING 3D Hi Def TV. Right out of the box you will notice that the brushed silver bevel adds a touch of distinction over the shiny black frame. But the differences do not end there. The processing speed difference is amazing and worth the extra cost, especially if you plan on using the 2D to 3D conversion. Although not the same as actual 3D content there is just enough POP to enhance your viewing experience. SPORTS, especially NFL football has that little something extra that adds true depth to the game. Speaking of depth, I was considering the SONY XBR and their picture was very good but in 3D mode the figures looked FLAT, with the 8000 figures appear to be more natural. This is getting too long, but IF you are ready to step up in class spend the extra $200 or so and do it right. CNET calls tis model the FLAGSHIP of the 2010 Samsung line and I think that they and Samsung had it right. BUY THE BLACK TIE WARRANTY. Not doing so could be a very costly mistake.

beautiful picture; be sure to mount it
Posted .I've had the tv about two weeks now and I have really enjoyed it. The picture quality is really sharp and bright; it made the picture quality of my old hdtv look very poor in comparison. be sure to mount it; while it looked fine on the stand, it looks ten times better once you mount it up on the wall. i also got the extra wireless attachment for internet access and it works nicely too. my only complaint is that it doesn't allow for as many inpuits as i wouild like, especially non-hdmi inputs; there's some real fiddling around required if you have a lot of equipment. as is, i didn't have enough inputs to connect my dvd recorder. but overall, it's a beautiful tv and generally easy to operate.

Awesome Product!
Posted .I was looking for a smaller LED – something on the 50” to 55” range – to replace my living room’s 58”/60Hz SAMSUNG plasma (great picture, just a little too big for the area) when I saw this LED-LCD HDTV on display. I decided to get more information and found out it is 3D capable. I purchased it for $2,500 – in store Veteran’s Day Sale – and got all kind of additional items for free: 3D SAMSUNG Blue Ray Player, two 3D glasses with a free 3D movie, surge protector and free color adjustment. I decided to purchase the SAMSUNG wireless adapter for internet access. The TV was very easy to install; just make sure you read the manual. The TV is so light I was able to mount it on the wall all by myself. I can’t believe the quality of the picture. The HD channels are so beautiful; there’s just no comparison to my previous 58”/60Hz plasma. The sound is clear and more than enough for a TV this thin. I used the fiber optic sound output and connected it to my receiver’s fiber optic sound input for an awesome 3D movie experience using the SAMSUNG 3D Blue Ray Player. No more crowded 3D theaters for me! I like the fact that I can now watch the early local TV news, and use the built-in internet access to check the weather and traffic reports, and read my e-mails all at the same time with one device before I leave home for work. Before I had to do this using my laptop and the kitchen’s 10” TV monitor. I can also access my videos, music – mp3’s – and photos stored in my home server. This truly is a great product for the price…

Unbelievable Quality....At a Price of Course!!!!!!
Posted .This is an expensive product at first sight, which I should know since I paid that ridiculous money up to front to own the LED age television sooner. I must say that the 240Hz refresh rate is huge when purchasing this generation of t.v. Combining that factor and the enormous contrast ratio gets you a picture that cannot be beaten. I watched Taken as my first movie with this item and my friends and I couldn't believe how different panning of the camera was. Add that to the fact that so much detail that was not able to be viewed before could finally be seen, and you will surely appreciate great acting not never before. Tha downside is that movies with sub-standard special effects (I'm looking at YOU Wolverine) seem as if they do in fact have sub-standard special effects. This was also my first Samsung purchase and first one with a protection plan because I saw a review talking about white blotches all over screen in dark blacks. Not true at all, so I can comfortably say....Well Done Samsung!!
