Samsung - 64GB microSD Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased two Samsung - 64GB microSD Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card - Orange because of the price. They were on sale. I wanted to increase the storage of my Samsung Galaxy S4 Cell Phone and Samsung Galaxy Tablet. The micro memory cards will hold so much informantion I don't think I will ever run out of space on either card.

Great product...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Samsung - 64GB microSD Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card - Orange is a great storage device. I bought two. The first card holds my videos the second is another story all together. First let me say that I would caution against using any multi-use adapters!! I have one and used it and bumped into it by accident while in use on my laptop. I was simply transferring my pics from my laptop, two other usb jump drives and one other sd card...was anxious to finally get all my photos in one place! Everything seemed to be in order once all the transferring was completed. I viewed my photos on the new sd card without any issues. Satisfied with my transfer I closed out of the new sd card for the day. When I tried to gain access the very next day I got an error message stating that, "device must be formatted for use!" Suffice it to say, I was upset. I tried other computers and even my Samsung cellphone....the same result. :( I placed over 1000 pics on that card and now I can't get to them. Five years of pics gone. So please...I suggest only using the most direct method of access with these cards!! I would hate for someone else to lose their precious photos or any other media for that matter, the way that I just did. >Please see the photo of the device I used in the accompanying photo to this review. Thanks for reading. 8-1-15

Fast MicroSD card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for use in my Android phone and/or my Canon 60D camera. So far, it works great and have had no problems with it. FWIW, I ran an AS-SSD benchmark test on it while inserted into the supplied SD adapter and connected via a USB card reader to my Windows 8.1 desktop. You can see the results in the attached photo. For comparison, I've also attached a photo of the identical benchmark run with a Sandisk Ultra 16GB SD (rated 30MB/s, Class 10). This Samsung is orders of magnitude faster, especially in the all-important write speeds. Obviously these aren't solid scientific tests, but at least provide a sense for the relative performance of this Samsung vs. another well-respected SDHC card. Overall, I'm very happy with it and will likely buy another.

Great SD Memory card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am so happy that I got the SD card. It immediately increased the space to add/move pictures and music. Now I never have to erase the cache of each app to make room for updates.

Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between the Orange and Silver 64gb Class 10 UHS-1 Cards?I can't see a difference in the schematics you display on the website...so the only differences are the color and the price (38 vs 130), as far as I can see

- A:Answer Check out Samsung's website: Samsung Evo (Orange) 64GB http://www.samsung.com/us/computer/memory-storage-accessories/MB-MP64DA/AM Samsung Pro (Silver) 64 GB http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/memory-cards-hdd-odd/memory-cards/micro-sdhc-pro/MB-MG64DA/EU They both have the same specifications, the only difference I saw was that the silver (Pro) is compatible for HS (high speed) transfer rates. Other than that they are basically the same. I would assume if your not running high visual graphics, then you should be fine by getting the EVO (for a fraction of the cost).

Q: QuestionIs the 64GB recommended for Galaxy S-4 ?I have been told that 10 rating slows down the Galaxy S-4 . Thank You For your help,Cha
Asked by chaulkie.
- A:Answer If you plan to take/store/download a lot of pictures and music on your phone this capacity is ideal. I always recommend getting the highest capacity for any device so you don't end up spending even more when you run out of room on the lower capacity (2/4/8gb) cards.

Q: QuestionWhat advantages will a sdhc card have over a plain sd card on my 10.1pro tab?SM-T520 user manual says: "Your device supports removable microSD or microSDHC memory cards with maximum capacities of 64 GB (depending on the memory card manufacturer and type)."
Asked by ERW.
- A:Answer There is no specific advantage between the types, the only difference is in the "standard" of the card. Regular and Micro SD cards are physical "sizes" of the card, where SD, SDHC and SDXC define how much memory each card/device can support. SD normally supports up to 2GB, SDHC >2-32GB and SDXC >32-2TB. Any possible "advantage" between cards would be defined by the "speed" of the card, in general the faster the card the "better". Other than that cards are pretty much the same. I hope this helps.
