I read the reviews, and it performs accordingly. Easy to set up. Field of view is narrow, as expected, but fine for my seating. Daytime glare from North window (perpendicular to screen) is less than feared. Shades not necessary for ordinary viewing. The large mirror above the viewing loveseat reflects the image back onto the screen, but even that is not usually noticeable. I have not used any of the sophisticated features yet.

I bought this pre-black Friday after doing a lot of research: I wanted a large (60" or better), non-3d, non-4K TV and I needed it to have a center stand (not the feet at the edge which has become inexplicably popular this past year) so it could fit on an existing TV stand. This Samsung fit the bill--it had mostly great reviews and, after getting a Price Match refund (thank you Best Buy) I ended up paying about $1100. BB did delivery and set up and, after I tweaked the picture settings following some online recommendations, I have been very pleased with the picture. The Smart Hub features are super easy to access and set up and I've had zero problems with using Amazon or Netflix (though I did have one Youtube crash) even though my internet connection isn't the fastest (I'm using the Ethernet connection). My only problem has been intermittent sound drops when using my Dish DVR (an old 622) to play live or recorded programs. It happens whether I am using the TV sound or a sound bar but it doesn't happen on Blu-rays or any of the Smart Hub apps so it seems to be a compatibility issue with the TV & Dish. I did research this issue online and tweaked a couple of sound settings and the problem has *mostly* gone away but it's certainly something to be aware of.
