We bought this TV to take the place of our 52" Sony which we were moving to another room in the house. We were pleased with the Sony for the last 6 years but as soon as we turned on this new Samsung we were blown away by the quality of the picture. Also, the ease of setup was a big plus and it fit perfectly in the space we planned for it. Was a little unsure about buying Samsung as we had been long time Sony fans, but after having purchased some Samsung appliances earlier this year which we were very pleased with, we decided to give their TV a try also and to date, do not have any regrets. It is the best TV viewing experience we have ever had in our home.

I considered buying the Ultra 4K of the same size but after making a few trips to both Best Buy and "The Big Screen Store" and comparing this LED Smart 65-inch against the same size for the 4K ultra, I just didn't see a discernible difference in picture quality between the two. Moreover, there's not yet much programming in 4K so I would be investing more money in the 4K for a deferred 4K benefit at some future date, and I just didn't think it was a smart move. In the end, i settled for the LED Smart and I'm happy i did. The picture quality is outstanding, the size is great for our basement theater room, my family loves it and my boys are having a ball with the smart feature which works very well. And, we saved a bundle on sale compared to what we would've paid for the 4K. We're very pleased! Did I also say that the Best Buy salesperson was as good as anyone would expect. he was patient, knowledgeable, and never pushy.

Samsung. This 65 inch TV is excellent, I have no complaints. The picture is outstanding and the Smart Hub is easy to use a fast enough it's not frustrating. I considered a smaller 4k TV and I have no regrets selecting this on. The features are complete and it even has decent sound. Best Buy. I purchased a Sharp that had issues (rebooting every 15 minutes). They handled the exchange in the store, picked up the TV I returned (including repacking it) and unpacked and set up the Samsung. Best Buy was great to work with.
