An unbelievably brilliant picture made possible by millions of colors, producing images you have to see to believe. Picture quality and color volume have been elevated to incredible levels.

Q: Trying to decide between Q60 or Q70 is the extra cost for the 70 worth it?
A: If it is worth it is entirely up to you. There are some differences that in my opinion are worth the extra 300 bucks. Edge lit vs Full Array Backlit. No local dimming on the Q60 vs Local dimming for better Contrast on the Q70. Faster processor, I saw both TV's side by side set up the same and there is definitely a huge difference in color saturation and better contrast.
Q: What is the width of the legs on the stand from inside to inside? My TV stand is 47 in. wide.
A: Measuring from the outside edge of each leg, the total span is 43.5".
A: Q80 has Samsung’s Ultra Black Technology which is suppose to make blacks appear darker and makes the screen less reflective to external light. And does better with viewing from an angle. There is a great review and comparison on YouTube by ABT Electronics https://youtu.be/l9OlRHg_o0o. For the price and best features relevant to my family we choose the Q70 over the Q80.
A: The quality of the upscaling depends on the channel and program. I have Xfinity. Some of the cable channels look close to 4k but others look worse than on my 55" Vizio 1080i TV. The quality of the picture also depends on the particular program. I have found that news programs and some other shows look great but movies can be good or not so good. I have the upgraded Netflix and some of their programs look spectacular. Overall, I am reasonably satisfied with the upscaling but it is not quite as spectacular as I had hoped.
A: I do not own this TV yet, but I read in an online article about Smart TV's that in order to avoid the "sop opera" effect it is necessary to turn off the "motion smoothing." Hope this helps.
Q: What are the actual dimensions (length x width ) of this screen?
A: From the Samsung support page for QN65Q70RAFXZA : Dimensions Product Size (W x H x D) Without Stand 57.1" x 32.7" x 2.4" Product Size (W x H x D) With Stand 57.1" x 35.8" x 11.3" Stand Size (WxHxD) 2.2" x 7.9" x 11.3" Shipping Size (W x H x D)63.3" x 38" x 7.7" Screen Size 64.5" Measured Diagonally
Q: Is it worth the money to get this tv than just buying the regular 8 series for cheaper?
A: It depends what tv you are upgrading from. I have 2 Mu8000 Sammy’s from 2018 and I always felt like the dark scenes were not dark enough and the color was somewhat washed out compared to my Plasma tv. The picture was clear and the “One Remote” made it very easy to use. I just bought a q70r over the weekend and love it. The darks scenes are plasma level with the full array, and the picture is so clear, you can see every scar, pore and imperfection on peoples faces. I paid $1397 for the 65” Q70r while I could have gotten the 8 series for $997. I say yes it’s worth it. Just for comparison I bought my 65” MU8000 for $1200 in 2018.
Q: Does this tv have a black or silver edge/frame?
A: Black! In my opinion looks way better than the silver bezel in the 80 and 90
