Q: Why buy this TV instead of an LG OLED?

A: You would buy this instead of an OLED if its going to be in a bright room and you are worried about burn in. OLEDs can get burn in if you watch a bunch of news shows or play games for hours a day. If its going to be running for 10+ hours a day then safer to get a QLED. Basically, after a few months of use a game HUD or news ticker bar would be burned into the TV and persist through other images. This TV is close to OLED, not quite there yet but it does show black with other content on the TV and its able to turn sections of the TV off to show better blacks. That's why you buy a Full Array Local Dimming TV instead of Edge Lit.

Q: Since the Q8 does not have an optical output how do you connect a Sonos sound Bar?

A: It does have an optical output connection. It doesn't show up in the BEST BUY specs, but check the website for Samsung.

Q: Does the Q8f support Bluetooth connection, such as headphones, keyboard, etc...?

A: Yes it does support other products that have Bluetooth, too.

Q: What's the difference compared to the q80 model? They seem identical.

A: A quick Google search showed that the q80 is the 2019 version of the same tv. Based on what I can tell, it seems that the only significant difference is that the newer model has updated technology to interface with various voice assistant devices.

Q: Why is the 65" Q8NF already down $200? I mean, I'm certainly not complaining, but it does raise some concerns whether they are already reducing the price because of a flaw they've found/people have reported.

A: I have had the tv for 2 months no and have seen no flaw what so ever. I purchased the 5year warranty with that and the tech support with was a LOT cheaper than shows online. If there are any issues, Best Buy will stand by it 100%. Same thing with an online service like Crutchfield.

Q: looking into this Samsung Q8 but if someone is sensitive to bright light can this tv be to bright compared to a OLED .

A: We love our TV but the colors can be very bright but I wouldn't take it back for anything great tv.

Q: Does this tv have a game mode?

A: Yes, this TV has an auto game mode.

Q: When will the 2018 samsung QLED tv's be on show in store?

A: Early April is when the new setups will be (for the most part) setup in most Best Buy locations.
