Quality5 out of 5Value3 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5Big, and beautiful is all I can really say about our Large Screen TV. We all have come a long way baby as this picture screen is Wow! It has a great deal of commonly used apps already built in so just a click or two from your small, sleek, nice looking TV Remote, and you're all set. We have the protection set up, and active from Best Buy however we have not had to use it in the two years owning it. your sound matches what you watch i.e., movies, sports, Music and so on. You literally have more technology than you know how to use. Yes our family recommends, and appreciates this Samsung - 65" Class - LED - Q9F Series - 2160p - S a great deal. we will definitely purchase another one whenever we are in need of a new Samsung TV, Thank You for a great product!

Great TV, even for gaming
|Posted .This tv has beautiful picture, plenty of 4K content out to make this purchase worth every expensive penny. Xbox One X gaming is awesome, especially with the auto game mode feature. Only hassle I find is it’s too bright at night, need a night mode.

Questionable Quality - Vertical Banding
|Posted .Bought the QN65Q9FNA since I've had positive experiences with previous Samsung products. This one cost me over $3,500.00 and it crapped out on me within 2 months. Best Buy's return policy is unfortunately 45 days so I called Samsung support a week ago. They sent me a replacement One Connect box which didn't do anything and now they're scheduling a local service company to come out to diagnose and hopefully fix it. It seems that I've paid a lot of $$ for a product with quality issues. I asked Samsung on both calls if this was a known problem and they said no. However, if you look it up on the Samsung forum, it apparently is.
No, I would not recommend this to a friendBrand response from Samsung

Amazing color & clarity!
|Posted .Clear, crisp picture with no fade-out! Vibrant colors with great picture detail! The ONLY disappointment might be in the area of the speakers but we will add our own external speakers.

Top of the line TV
|Posted .While the price is a little steep, what you are paying for is worth it! Great, crisp, clear picture. Beautiful colors. Excellent sound! The only thing that distracts me a little is this shadow of darkness that happens when there are scenes shot in low light. Easy to use. Great apps and options. Fast loading.

Q: QuestionWhat is the different between Q9 and Q8 2018?
Asked by Junior.
- A:Answer Not much, the Q8 has 240 local dimming zone and the Q9 has 480. The Q9 has a shiny metal remote and the Q8 has a plastic. The Q9 comes with the one connect box, the Q8 does not.

Q: QuestionI heard that Samsung offers a 5 year warranty on QLED parts and labor and a 10 year warranty on burn in protection? Is this true? What is the actual warranty on the QLED’s?
Asked by Curious.
- A:Answer I just spoke to Samsung. on the QN65Q7DR (Costco model) it includes the 5 year parts & labor manufacture warranty. Repaired by authorized Samsung repair technicians. 5/26/2019 I called 1-800-Samsung.

Q: QuestionIs this tv too bright to comfortably watch in a dark room?
Asked by Drew.
- A:Answer Nah. It is an amazingly bright TV and first thing in the morning, it can be a little bright until your eyes adjust, but I prefer to watch it with the lights off in the evening. I've got a Samsung 4k player that upscales and rewatching some Blue Ray's is amazing. Avatar came out ten years ago but blew my mind when I watched it on this TV. Also, Call of Duty WWII on PS4 Pro looks insanely good.

Q: Questionwhat's e difference between this $3700 tv and a 4k tv for half the price?
Asked by hickory.
- A:Answer Better processing, better local dimming, better build quality, and overall better picture quality. However, if you are not a huge movie person or watch the TV non stop, then a TV at half the price would be just fine.

Q: QuestionIf I read interpreted correctly this model is not blue tooth enable. Does that prevent you from using BEATS headphones etc?
Asked by Jimm.
- A:Answer It does have Bluetooth. Not sure where that came from.

Q: QuestionFor the life of me, I cannot decide between Samsung's Q9 QLED and LG's C8 OLED. Anyone have an opinion one way or the other? I'm worried about OLED's brightness and longevity (since the panel is organic).
Asked by jdrednation.
- A:Answer I was torn between picking one of those exact two panels as well. I ended up getting the Q9 based on the location in my house. The TV is in my living room where my wife likes to keep the windows open during the day, the brightness is about twice as bright as the C8. I also do some gaming so I was worried about burn in with some games. All this being said I would base your decision on the type of content you watch and the location in your house. Either way you will be walking away with a great television. I do some light gaming on the TV mosty PC now and consume tons of content on 4k streaming and 4k bluray. I would suggest you get a nice sound bar as well, as almost all these new thinner panels have speakers that dont do the picture justice.

Q: Questioni would like to know if my av receiver pioneer vsx lx302 will work with this tv's one connect box, because i really want to buy this tv but since i heard so many people complaining about the compatibility i am kind of worried about it.
Asked by eliassolomon.
- A:Answer The One Connect box has standard connections (HDMI, ethernet, USB, etc) so you shouldn't have any issues with connectivity. If you're going to worry, worry about Samsung's proprietary cable that runs from the One Connect box to the TV. That's a single-point failure and we know nothing about how it works. That said, i shelled out $3000 for the top QLED model two weeks ago. It hooked up easily and I've had zero problems, but it WAY too early to make any predictions whether this product will last.

Q: QuestionWhich is the best Soundbar for this TV. I am looking for a soundbar with 5.1 surround sound and able to connect with One Remote.
Asked by Subbu.
- A:Answer I bought the Sonos sound bar, which handles everything wirelessly. The surround sound is accomplished by dedicating two small speakers to the home theatre configuration and placing them in the rear left and right positions. You can also buy more of those small speakers to use throughout the house, each of which is able to play different source material simultaneously, or have them all play from the same source. Even one small one alone has incredible sound, including excellent bass. I bought the Sonos subwoofer to go with the sound bar, which produces strong, clear bass even at low volumes. I’m extremely happy with the Sonos system. You can even set alarms for individual speakers.
