So where do I start...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're here, you are likely here because you want an excellent gaming TV and don't want to pay OLED prices (or a related reason). If that's the case, you are in the right place. I don't typically do long winded reviews, but this set warrants it. So lets get into it. First up, is the tech. This is a "mini LED" TV. What is that? simple answer - the LED's used for the backlight / illuminating pixels are MUCH smaller than conventional LED's used to backlight tv's. Why is this important? - This is important for a number of reasons, the most important of which is that there is a much larger number of these LED's being used for the backlight. (more on that in a minute) Given that they are much smaller, that means the overall depth of the chassis is considerably thinner than any of the other flagship QLED tv's. If you're into the whole "ultra thin" thing, put a check in the box. Why else is this important? - Traditional LED's take up more space. More space means less LED's doing more work with backlighting the pixels. It also means less accuracy in lighting the pixels (since they are bigger and further from the LCD). This is a contributing factor to "blooming". Anything else? Yes. Mini LED's allow for a greater number of zones for dimming. What's a dimming zone? - basically a dimming zone is a group of LED's being used for the backlight that can be "dimmed" independently and automatically during normal use to enhance contrast and black depth. The QN90A (65 inch model) gets 792 dimming zones... That is amazing. That is also a major contributing factor to the picture quality (which is also amazing). NOTE**** the 55 inch model does NOT have nearly as many dimming zones and IMO is an inferior model. The reason THAT is important is because if you are shopping for this TV, this is almost certainly not going to be the last review you read. That being the case, be sure to check which size the reviewer of your choice is reviewing. EVERYONE i've seen review the 55 inch version of this panel is claiming that blooming and light bleeding are issues. EVERYONE reviewing the 65 inch version of this panel are basically praising it. Why is it good for gaming? HDMI 2.1, 120hz 4k, VRR. ALLM (auto low latency mode) I did not check to see if the HDMI 2.1 is a full bandwidth port or not (i.e. whether it's pushing 40gbps or the full 48gbps), but it's mostly a moot point since the newest gaming consoles don't support the full 2.1 bandwidth either. My comparison television is a 65" Q9F from about 3 years ago. That television was excellent. This blows it out of the water in nearly every way. Input lag is low. game mode is virtually judder free. Game mode is automatic (that may seem like a nit picky thing but try having to manually put your TV in and out of Game mode for ~ 5 years then tell me how much you appreciate this feature) in terms of gaming performance, it's literally night and day. Picture quality - in short, it's insane. Best color reproduction i've seen in any TV that isn't an OLED. Best black levels i've seen in any TV that isn't an OLED (in some regards it performs almost as well as OLED. why do i say almost - because OLED has TRUE black since the pixels literally turn off) That said i challenge anyone to observe the black levels of a properly tuned version of this television and not praise it. Color reproduction - Out of the box, the picture was over saturated. Reds washed out but Greens and blues were pretty ok. After tuning the TV properly i am pleased to say that color is amazing. For comparison, my Q9F is one of the brightest most colorful TV's i've ever used. this blows it out of the water. NOTE - my Q9F was almost $1000 more just a few years ago in the same size. Motion - Samsung has come a long way with their motion smoothing tech. so much so that leaving it on auto (for non gaming applications) is actually perfectly fine. picture is buttery smooth. Blooming - i have not noticed any blooming yet, and trust me i've been looking. Will this change in the future? don't know. i've had it about 5 days and put it through it's paces. But as it sits, i am utterly amazed at the black levels this TV produces and have yet to see any blooming or light bleed. I'm sure there is some but this is best in class. Brightness - Wow... This TV hits 2000 nits of brightness with the brightest HDR content. For reference, that is enough brightness to make you physically squint at the screen. That is also considerably higher than most TV's out there at current. Why is that important - HDR is based on brightness. So all those fancy ray gun glows and particle effects in movies and games benefit solely from the brightness of the set. (obviously color reproduction plays a part here too but brightness is the biggest factor) Conclusion - i could go on for a while about the set. but bottom line is if you want a phenomenal gaming tv, take a looooong hard look at this (in the 65 inch don't bother with the 55). I have zero regrets. It's worth noting that i was coming from a very good gaming tv (the Q9F) to this. So if you don't already have a gaming TV, you will likely be blown away by it. hats off samsung, definitely pleased with my purchase.

5 Stars Are Not Enough for This Super TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this 18 months ago as an upgrade from a standard 4k TV, and this was the best upgrade I've ever seen. The picture quality and color display is superb! I also can't believe how much better the local-dimming feature is to dark colors. I chose to wall mount the TV, however, the stand looks so good I'm almost tempted to keep it out. The borders are essentially non-existent and invisible against a dark wall. It has a very smooth user UI, as is the case with all Samsung products. I love that it auto-updates the apps and OS on its own. This TV also came with a solar charging remote, as well as USB-C charging. So no more taking out and replacing batteries. I would give this TV 10 stars if I could, but I guess I will have to settle for the 5-star max.

Love my NEO QLED
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this TV for about 2 years now. No complaints and I get a ton of compliments. It has a sleek design and a great picture. No lag on the remote to the tv receiver. Sound is perfect on its own for live sports/movies.

Awesome so far !!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm very happy with my Samsung QLED TV that I purchased 2 years ago. The Geek Squad guys did a great job installing it and setting up my remote for Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. The picture is crystal clear both during the day and at night. I'm considering purchasing another for my bedroom.

greatest TV ever ??? maybe !
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best pitcher quality I’ve ever seen in a TV that I’ve ever owned, The user interface was amazing and easy to use, Samsung did a really good job with this TV and having a solar rechargeable remote how cool is that !!! that’s where the praise stops unfortunately, this is the third brand-new 2021 Samsung TV in a row that I had to replace and turn in back to back to back within a two week span of time because of having screen issues, Quality control to me sucked with my experience I absolutely hate what I had to go through to extreme backlight bleeds on the first two TVs and on this TV there was a really bad blackish grey line going up and down the TV screen dead center that was extremely noticeable on a white screen or light colored backgrounds I unfortunately didn’t wanna gamble and go through this process again with another Samsung especially with me spending several grand on them and it being a high tear tv, I had to go to another brand altogether i’m really sad about it because I had to downgrade in pitcher quality/ brightness and vibrancy, if Samsung can get their quality control in order I truly believe this would be the best TV on the market because I fell in love with it I hated to see it go I almost wanted to bite the bullet and keep the TV despite the defect because of how good pitcher quality I had, I would suggest getting a 2020 or a 2022 when they come out and avoid the new 2021 models in my personal opinion so you’re not making a gamble, Samsung if you’re reading this love you guys it’d be nice if you could just gift me a TV to replace my old one lol you guys have a great product and I’ve been using you since I was 18 and I’m 30 now.

Great TV
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV itself has been a great experience. It's a huge upgrade from my previous TV and I've been happy about it. Unfortunately, even though I bought it as Open Box - Excellent, it did not come with a power cable or even a stand. Luckily for me, I was mounting it to my wall but without power cable, I couldn't turn it on. Just beware, even though all accessories were supposed to be included, it was not the case with me. I did go back to the store but they looked at me like I was in the wrong but they did get me a spare power cable. That being said, this review is for the TV and it gets 5 stars but BestBuy needs to step up here because this sort of thing should not be happening.

Don't Buy a Cheap TV. This One's Worth the Price!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic TV! I bought a cheaper Samsung Model (Class 7 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV) for around $500 and had to return it because the brightness level was horrible. Decided to go 50/50 with my roommate to get this more expensive model (on sale for $1,800) and it was worth it. The brightness is great. Picture clarity, color, etc... You get what you pay for.

Q: QuestionDoes the TV really come with 4 HDMI 2.1 slots as displayed in the pictures?? Because there are forums online saying only European models have that feature and the states are getting the TV with only 1. Thanks in advance

Q: QuestionHello. I have read numerous articles stating that the audio output on this TV is not what is expected from a Samsung and that a Sound Bar is recommended, The Sound Bar recommended was $1499.99 If audio output is an issue, will there be a fix?
Asked by Wayne.
- A:Answer Hi, I recently purchased this tv and mine is the 65” QN90A. I was playing my ps5 with just the tv speakers and it sounded really good. I generally buy sound bars for my TVs because I like that home theater sound. I purchased a Samsung sound bar from Sam’s that was $199.99 years ago and it still sounds amazing on my Q80T I purchased last year. I can’t justify spending $1,499.99 on a sound bar. If you just use the tv speakers you will be just fine.

Q: QuestionMost think my Frame TV is an actual painting. Can this TV look like that when off, w/ a matte + lowered brightness that tricks 9/10 people into thinking it's a painting, not a TV? I'd like this TV's image quality w/ the Frame's ability to look like art.
Asked by Jed.
- A:Answer This TV does have an ambient mode to display art or customized pictures. I can't compare it to the frame series since I have no experience with those. I do however enjoy the ambient features of this unit and imagine they utilize the same tech as the Frame series.

Q: QuestionIf you want to raise the volume or go up in channels can you press and hold the button or do you have to press button every time you go up in volume or channel?
Asked by Aj.
- A:Answer If you press and hold the volume, it mutes it. If you push the volume button up and hold, it will increase the volume, from 12, 13, 14 etc. until it's at the level you desire. Same for channel surfing.
