Got this and the matching washer from Best Buy after a disaster with Lowe’s (do not ever order appliances there). This was a no hassle experience. No problem with delivery. It does everything it’s supposed to and is nicer than a simple white box. The only cons are it’s a bit low to the ground, it’s not any quieter than older units and the pedestals are waaay too expensive. Still definitely recommend.

Overall it works well. I turn it on, walk away, and my clothes are dry when it's done. There's really not much to say. I've never owned a washer/dryer set made after 1985 in my life... so my standards are quite low. I got the dark gray color and it looks very nice in my laundry room. I have an ancient home, built in 1929, so my plumbing situation to get the steam hooked up and working was frustrating and costly for personal reasons. People with modern homes shouldn't have any issues. And quite frankly the work needed to be done regardless, so it's not like it's the dryer's fault. I still don't think we hooked it up correctly. I'll have to buy even more copper pipe to be able to connect the water shutoff directly to the dryer. I would have purchased an LG set, but Best Buy was running a deal on Samsung. After all of the perks it was worth it! ALSO NOTE, the dryer is NOT energy start certified, so if you were counting on an energy rebate for it, kiss those dreams goodbye. The washer however, is eligible for a rebate.

This is my first foray into the world of high tech laundry appliances, and I have to say I'm pretty pleased. My husband's still a little nervous reporting that he feels like he needs a month long intensive class and then he'll probably be able to fly it to the moon. But honestly, despite all the bells and whistles it's pretty intuitive to use. Thus far my favorite features are the folding lint trap which seems fantastically effective and the antistatic setting which is a miracle for all those knit blends I wear. The high temp sanitize is also a favorite. The only thing that I don't have entirely dialed in is the refresh setting. It seems to do a good job of refreshing the things that we've been pulling out of storage as the weather changes, but the preset cycle tends to leave damp spots so it's a little tricky. I'm playing with adding a few minutes of just heat to sort it out. But I think it might be more related to the overall ambient humidity here than any deficiency in the dryer. I'd absolutely recommend this dryer to anyone looking for new, and I look forward to upgrading my washer similarly.

For a house of 7 people. Who are old enough to do their own laundry. Have not heard anyone complain about this dryer. For me it works great, now that I have learned best setting for my needs. Eco dry for instance cannot handle that much clothes when on timed dry. Suggest avoiding when you need to dry on high and do not want it to take over an hour. Honestly that is my only gripe. I like to used timed dry more than anything. Maybe I will give steam dry a chance eventually, but right now this gets the job done. Check back in 3 years to see about reliability.

Easy operation and the user interface is rather simple/user friendly. I also liked the jingle when the drying cycle is complete, and it gives you the option to mute the jingle too. However, I am taking one star away because this dryer does not come with enough hoses for setup. It came with the y-connector and one hose only. Another hose is needed to connect the y-connector to the water source. So I ended buying a separate steam kit just for another hose.
