Q: Is it possible to have the door hinges moved to the left side? So the door opens to the left?
A: Yes. It's very easy and there's a You Tube video on the step by step process. All you need is a couple of screwdrivers.

I see your point, since I am not tall myself. Samsung had created a multicontrol kit. These would enable control of the dryer right from the washer when units are stacked.
