Q: What will I need to purchase for installation for this gas dryer?
A: You will need a 3/8" to 1/2" gas line or the appropriate coupler to turn the 3/8" from the dryer into 1/2" it would need to be a 3/8 inch female to 1/2 inch male adapter
Q: How much drying time for normal clothes?
A: Standard drying time is around 45 mins for a full load, however, the unit has a sensor that will add time, as needed; if clothes are not quite dry
A: Same experience here. Gas Dryer just never gets very hot. With dryer set on Timed Dry, Max High, Eco Off (absolute necessity and it restricts the cycle to 40 minutes max!), it takes 2 full cycles just to get 4-5 t-shirts dry. Thats an 1 hour and 20 minutes. Worst dryer I have ever used.
Q: dOES THIS DRYER REQUIRE A CONVERSION KIT FOR PROPANE
A: Great question! The dryer would need to be converted in order to use liquid propane (LP). However, the conversion kit is included with the dryer. Due to the risks associated with gas and propane, Samsung recommends a licensed professional perform the conversion. ^Jecca
