A: AnswerAll 83" TVs, including the S90C, use WOLED panels. This includes also the 83" C3 and G3 LGs. The 83" S90C uses an LG WOLED panel as well. I have had this TV, 83" S90C, for a month and love it. Plenty bright for me in a moderately lit room. Fantastic picture. I bought it from Best Buy for $3,499. At that price, even with paying for very friendly and competent Best Buy installation - I didn't want to risk lifting this big TV by myself - I feel very good about my purchase.Answered by Excellent

A: AnswerIve owned this for tv for 2 months. Worth every penny. It has 4 HDMI ports. All of them easily accessible , unlike some of the other models Ive owned in the past. The color and contrast on the 4k content is eye opening. I use the Panasonic 820 4k blu ray player and that works brilliantly with the set. The sound needed more bass, so I bought the 5.1 Samsung sound bar and subwoofer; Q Symphony. Not 100% sure what model the sound system is- but it was 1,000.00 originally and paid 747.00 here at BestBuy with the recent sales. Altogether I own this model tv, with the sound system, the Panasonic 820 blu ray player and it works as it should- immaculately.. Ive also invested in over 200 4k discs and several blu ray discs; it's still the best picture quality and sound that can be delivered. However the streaming quality for this model is way better then I had ever dreamed a tv could produce. Both Netflix and Amazon Prime deliver.Answered by 1234AmenRa

Love the size for large wall
Fan of Samsung and this TV does fits the need for larger screen on a large wall. Great picture, features and the price was competitive during the holiday sales. Suggested it for my brother that bought one as well. Not using the TV sound with HDMI connection to Onkyo A/V receiver.

83" is NOT the same as other sizes
I find this TV very difficult to rate. It's a beautiful TV in of itself. But unfortunately when compared to the 77" s90c it's slightly lacking. The bestbuy website said 1 store within 50 miles had the 83" on display. I called the bestbuy number and they told me that yes, this exact model was on display so I drove over. It wasn't. But the 77" was and I fell in love with it. Now this is the most important part of this review. What I wasn't told when I fell in love with the 77" s90c on display is that although the 83" has the s90c model name it is the ONLY one with a different OLED screen. And it's made by LG. Read that again. Even though it has the same s90c model name it's very different from the other sizes. That isn't a bad thing, however Samsung TVs have QD OLED technology (quantum dot) which is brighter and slightly more vibrant than standard WOLED. This 83" s90c is much closer to the LG 83" C3 OLED. However, it's lacking the Dolby Vision that's in the LG C3. I was told the 83" would be identical to the 77" but just bigger. I was sold... If I had known all this before purchasing it, renting a U-haul van to pick it up, and mounting it to my wall I would have opted for the slightly smaller 77" s90c. I paid $3,999 for the 83" and the 77" is currently $2,499. For $1,500 less I think I could have been happy with a TV 2" less in height and 2.5" less per side. If only I had done more homework... With all that said, this is still an excellent TV. Which makes me feel bad for rating this so low. But sadly Samsung is a bit cryptic about this models OLED and it shouldn't be sold under the s90c model name. I love Samsung but this is a bit questionable. If I had known better I would have saved $1,500 and purchased a slightly smaller TV with a brighter QD OLED screen. But there's no way I'm going to take this monster back down off the wall, try to repackage it in the box (that box is not meant to be used again after opening) and do this process all over again with a 77". Consider these comparable TVs in this order: 1) 77" s90c (if you want the best picture) 2) 83" LG C3 3) 83" s90c (close tie to the LG esp if you like Samsung) If you absolutely want the 83" size then this TV or the LG C3 are both great options. I do think the Samsung looks sexier, though!

This TV is fantastic! The picture is the clearest I have ever seen. We added a new sound bar as well to give us the Q-symphony quality sound.
