My Dell 7520 has never been this fast on start-up (about 15-20 seconds to desktop). Faster than my new gaming MSI laptop ,and its very fast on start-up. I highly recommend this SSD drive, it's the single most thing you can do to improve your older computers or laptops! I also installed a fresh copy of Windows 10 Home.

I purchased this for my music production computer, and it might be a bit of overkill since I think the 860 Evo produces nearly identical speeds. However, if ever second counts for you, the investment might be worth it. Another consideration is the Pro has double the length of warranty as the Evo, so that's a bonus.

Though the EVO 860 model is cheaper I only get the PRO model, and you should too! If your computer has M.2 NVMe capability, get the 970 PRO as that is faster, but if not, this is the hard drive to get. Highly recommend!
