Customers love the Flex Duo 5.8 cu. ft. Self-Cleaning Freestanding Gas Convection Range's double oven and its ease of use. Many also appreciate the range's quality and attractive appearance. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the oven door and warranty issues. The reported problems seem to be related to the oven door's functionality and the timing of malfunctions relative to the warranty period.
The extra burner on top came in handy as did the separate ovens for cooking different things at different temperatures at the same time...we had 16 adults and 5 kids over for Thanksgiving...this Samsung Double Oven was a Life Saver!!!

Unpacked the stove, put everything together then saw that the top was stainless. Sending it back as it would be a nightmare to keep clean. Had to wait till Monday so I used it till then as I had no other. After dinner I used a damp sponge to wipe the top off and a dish towel to dry it. Dinner never happened. You would need a forensic investigator, ( before I get educated on the definition of forensic, please be advised that some of my culinary innovations have been referred to as "crimes against humanity".),to determine if it had been used. It also had a power burner that was WAY to hot. When I learned how it worked, it became my go to flame. Hot hot to low low and every temp in between This is not a cheep date but as I was researching stoves, this fortunately went on sale. Note that I have the slide in version, not freestanding as pictured in the ad,

Love this stove! It looks great. I use the top oven a lot to roast, bake, or broil. I love the versatility of being able to use the top oven, the two 2 ovens, or one full oven. Conserving space and energy are important to me. I still have a drawer at the bottom, and do not have to lift items out of the oven at near floor level. The range fires up instantly and evenly. The black surface hides dirt and cleans easily. The 3-piece iron grid accommodates multiple cookware of different sizes. The light bulb in the top did go out within a month. (This seems to be common.) And I wish there were two rows of flames instead of just one so broiling could be more even for bigger items.
