Q: What is the difference between the regular G7 odyssey and the T1 faker edition?
A: it has the same performance as the regular g7 odyessey except the red UI and the red accents on the monitor and the signature offcourse, other than that it has the same performance level as the regular G7
A: It is gsync free sync ready. It says it on the monitor border. Same specs as the G7 just different UPC/model #.
Q: Does this model come with a display port input?
A: This was my exact question and after cross referencing Samsung (https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/monitors/gaming/27-g7-t1-faker-edition-gaming-monitor-lc27g77tqsnxza/#specs) it appears the answer is "YES"....Also, this monitor does not have HDMI 2.1, so the only way it can deliver 240hz @ 2k resolution is through usage of Display Port.
Q: Isn't the Faker Edition only limited to Korea? How is it sold out.
A: No it's not. It's been available in the US and still is. Although it might go out of stock forever very soon as it's a limited edition and I assume Samsung won't keep producing them
Q: Not seeing it in the specification, but does what kind of hdmi port does it have? Is it 2.1?
A: IF you want the 240hz and the 4k resolution you will have to use a Display Port. This monitor does not have HDMI 2.1
A: Yes, unfortunately no hdmi 2.1 on this model
Q: is 4k
A: It is not 4K. Max resolution is 2560x1440 @240Hz
