I live in the country and needed a replacement for my old PC. We do not get internet out here so I chose this tablet with the LTE Verizon. It can do all the functions for word processing, spreadsheet, powerpoint and my day to day reading. Upload your documents to DropBox account and you can get it back on any PC. It will not replace a PC completely. I use this tablet for my internet hot spot to have access to the internet. Get an external bluetooth keyboard is a needed accessory. A cable to go from the new USB port to a standard female USB is a must. Get some more memory. Buy the fast 64G sd chip does the trick to store movies, pictures, music and other items. It can be removed and placed in an adapter that will fit most digital cameras. To move data from my phone to this tablet is easy. Using a gmail account to sync calender is great. My wife does not want to get a smartphone but will use this tablet. Don't tell her it is just like the smartphone.

Just to understand, I am 56 years old and have progressive lens eyeglasses so a small tablet or pad was not going to work, secondly the pen and capabilities, although somewhat LIMITED are uniquely designed for use by someone who has need of a big pad, I would have given five stars but felt as all of today's products are rushed to sales not enough apps or features exclusive to the pad are available, such as if I had to draw a special design to incorporate into another drawing Where is that capabilities to merge, this seems easy, to develop but does not exist, a merge feature or insert could expedite transfers of other important data. Needs more apps
