||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used all kinds of phones from the iPhone 5s, Galaxy s3, Galaxy s6, Galaxy s7 edge, and Huawei Honor 8, and I have to say that this phone is the best phone I've ever used. Everything from the 6.3" display to the s-pen it's a quality product whose everyday usage is almost flawless. Iris scanning is fast when it works which is 95% of the time. Fingerprint scanner is as fast as the s7's. The zoom lens is nifty if youre the type that comes into contact with objects that are just a bit too far at times. The phone is also just good to look at, but at $929, the cheapest price for unlocked models, it better be. That's a steep price to pay and honestly it should be worth closer to $829.

It has been my daily driver for the past 3 months for work and play and it's the first Samsung phone I've been truly happy with. Battery life is phenomenal when not in a signal-starved area and the camera responsiveness is incredible.

Amazon had the same phone for roughly the same price, but Best Buy did something that I thought only Sprint could do... install a sim card, transfer everything from my old phone to the new phone, and activated my new phone to my old sprint plan without having to pay fees. Oh yes, the next time I need a new phone, I am coming to Best Buy cause they handled that without ANY issues, problems, or extra fees. You guys ROCK!

Good phone but not the unlocked one
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have just received my unlocked version today, and the reason I would not recommend this to a friend because Best Buy official website said this is a Dual Sim phone, in fact Samsung USA never sell any dual sim product within the US market, and you will only get one IMEI for the phone. Tech Support of Best Buy will say that you should try to install the SIM into microSD slot, do not try that it will not work. The specification on the website is wrong, but other than that, it is a good price, and unlocked for all carrier :)

- A:Answer Trust me,,buy UNLOCKED. I have owned carrier specific, carrier unlocked and Samsung Unlocked. If it had a carrier name on it, then it has Bloatware. Whether it's games or other apps, They want to put on there, you can't remove them. Thy will always update and use up space, i took a Samsung unlocked phone to ATT when i had the,. The rep had to get it on their service. He was surprised at how much faster it was then their version of the same phone.

- A:Answer I actually called Samsung and asked them I bought an unlocked from Best Buy and if they will get me the freebies. They said Yes and that once I get the phone and go to Samsung App, I will have to fill up the form and submit to get them.

- A:Answer Both my wife and I purchase unlocked Note 8 phones from Best Buy. Activate your phone from your carrier of choice. To claim your free items you must download the shopsamsung app first. Create your account if you do not have one. Log into the app and select promotions. This will bring up a screen to fill out with all the information required. I attached my receipt where asked for. My wife did not. Both of us were confirmed with our promotions. Email confirmation was received. You can check your status at any time with the app and promotions. We were told 6 to 7 weeks. Hope this answers your question.

- A:Answer I called Samsung & gave them the model number that Best Buy has listed for the dual Sim unlocked version SM-N950UZKAXAA. The Samsung Customer Service Rep said that it was not dual Sim. That there aren't any dual Sim Note 8 being sold in the USA

- A:Answer All phones come with a charger...And yes it comes with a pair of corded Head phones. They are decent corded headphones too, They are AKG headphones. AKG was a parent company of Harmon Kardon (Samsung bought Harmon Kardon/JBL last year) so they are very good for free. I believe the value of them if you bought the headphones separate would be $99.99. I work for Verizon that's how I know what comes with the Note 8 so my answer is 100% accurate. I've seen what comes in the box.

Q: QuestionCan Unlocked Note 8 be used on Verizon to call & simultaneously use data? I had an unlocked S8 but was only able to make a call but not go online or send a message. I'm able to now on Verizon Note 3. Is this still an issue or just a setting change?

- A:Answer Most new phones only have one antenna module shared between CDMA & LTE radios, and since Verizon uses CDMA for calling, you probably won't be able to use LTE data while calling OUT OF THE BOX. If you enable "Advanced Calling" (which VZW brands as "HD Voice") in the phone's settings, calls will be routed over LTE (not impacting your data usage), and you'll be able to access data while on a phone call.
