I had an S3 that was awesome when I purchased it but had seen better days by the time I went in for a new phone. I loved the fact this phone is designed for a more active lifestyle. I don't treat my phones gently so this is a bonus. You see right off that it has a more substantial case. Its slightly larger and heavier than a standard S6 but as far as I'm concerned the piece of mind is worth it. I went to the Samsung desk and they immediately helped me transfer everything over to the new phone. I've used the camera a number of times and it takes great photos. The screen is larger and has a better quality than my old phone. I don't use a lot of apps but the few I do use run quickly and flawlessly. I would recommend this phone.

Water resistant, very sturdy. Does not need a case. I first looked at the phone at the ATT store. I had the clerk drop it onto the sidewalk from about 4 feet high. The edges of the casing were scuffed, but the screen did not crack. The phone is very fast moving from task to task. Great battery life with quick charging.

The S6 Active is by far the best Android smartphone I've used. The GS6 Active has a beefier battery. I pick it up from charger at 7am and I still have power at 9pm. It's simply amazing. It's much more comfortable to hold and stays secure in my hand. Camera, processor and screen remain equal to that of the regular S6 so no complaints there. Everything just works superb. Another added bonus that the S6 Active has is the extra manual quick key above the volume rocker. Cons: Limited Storage: 32gb vs 64gb or 128gb. AT&T bloatware that you can't get rid of, just disable. Overall the S6 Active is the device to get. It's not only designed for those with "active" lifestyles but for all types of consumers.
