Q: is the phone lock or unlock ?
A: I bought the AT&T phone and notified them and after 3 days received a code from AT&T and had the phone unlocked.
A: As long as you don't buy it under contract, you can just pick up a gophone sim and pop it in.
Q: Could I use this phone on Straight Talk, if I got the bring your own phone plan?
A: No, this is locked to AT&T.
Q: Can I use it with a T-Mobile network
A: No, the phone can only be used with the AT&T network.

Q: I know this carrier is AT&T but can I also activate it at cricket?
A: It's locked to AT&T however locked AT&T phones do work on Cricket. I've tried this myself and it does work. Just know you need a active AT&T sim (postpaid or GoPhone) to get Android Updates.
