love it!
||Posted .I had a galaxy 5 which is why I couldn't wait to get a 6. I really loved my 5 and this is even better. However, the major issue that I have is that you cannot delete or disable some apps so the battery does not die is quick. that is the only major thing that I don't like. Love so much that my daughter had an iPhone 5 and I talked her into trying a Galaxy and first she didn't like it and now she loves it way more than she liked her iPhone 5. my next phone will definitely be a galaxy.

Great phone, but some issues.
||Posted .I have had minimal issues. Sometimes screen goes black and it will totally lock up on me. I have only had this phone since October 26, 2015.

||Posted .I upgraded from the 5 to the 6. I love the camera on the the 6 so much more than the 5. Only thing that I would change is to put some kind of texture on the back of the phone. SLIPPERY

Overall Excellent except bluetooth interface
||Posted .LOVE the S6! Many great new features. I upgraded from the S3 so this was a huge leap for me! I love how intuitive it is. The new theme customization options are amazing. I like the opton to secure with a finger print. I like that you can customize how many "windows" you want to be able to scroll left/right from home screen versus the pre determined amount. Overall much more customizing options which i love. It also holds a charge much longer than my S3 did which is worth it times 100. I also love the ultra power saving mode. That has saved me so many times already! It totally puts the phone down to a bare bones black and white mode with no apps, just a few key important features (messaging, internet, phone) with option to add a few more but gives you extra HOURS depending on when you turn it on. I had let my phone go over 24 hours without getting to a charger (which is unbelievable to me!) So i was at about 15% battery at work, turned the saver on, and made it home with 2% to spare! I have not utilized a wireless charging port yet but that sounds interesting. Not sure how i feel yet about the lack of removable sd card, hopefully the 32GB memory will suffice. Also on the fence about not having a removable battery. Hopefully it never freezes...but my s3 froze constantly. Time will tell i suppose. The only thing i can say i am 100% irritated with is the bluetooth function! My S3 had zero problems syncing with my car or any other device. My music would always load/play without an issue. Now whenever i get in my car sometimes it will start to play, cut out for a few seconds, then completely disconnect. I then have to go through the car controls and the phones bluetooth settings to resync them both. The music starts for a minute. Then disconnects again. This always happens for at least 2-3 cycles per car ride which is beyond ridiculous. It's such a waste of time, completely unsafe, and totally defeats the purpose of "handsfree". Hopefully Samsung updates this issue pronto. I may end up throwing my phone on the highway one of these times just because of the bluetooth haha. And yes - i have completely erased both devices from each other and tried resyncing several times, always with the same outcome. I have done all phone updates. i also brought my old phone out to the car for kicks to see what would happen. Synced up no problems and jammed like a pro. Sorry S6, you definitely fail on that one :(

Overall Great Phone
||Posted .My last phone was a Samsung Galaxy S3 so it was time to finally upgrade. With any new device there will be things that you have to get "used" to, and then over time, you can't even remember what those things were. Here are the pros and cons as they stick out for me (not a tech-geek), keep in mind I've only had the device for just over a week . . . Pros: - Extremely fast processing speed (I get text and other notifications almost immediately after turning the device on, where it used to take several minutes). - Device turns on and off very quickly. - Battery seems to last longer & certain apps don't drain the battery as much they did on my S3. - Beautiful and vivid screens/colors. - Picture quality is amazing. - Fingerprint security is a great feature - when it works. - Screen grid size can be changed easily (maybe that's not so new for people who have more recent phones). - I am happy with how much I can customize various screens/settings. Cons: - Default keyboard is big and has the number row visible all of the time but does not automatically capitalize "I" when I type it and then space - it bothered me so much that I downloaded the Google Keyboard (PC layout), which doesn't seem quite as big but does have the number row. - Default text messaging app is a horrible orange color and has limited customization options. I found it hard to differentiate between my texts and the senders texts - I downloaded Google Messenger, which has a lot of great color options. - I'm not sure if it is the keyboard I downloaded or the phone. but the auto correct is not as good as what I had on the S3 - I really have to proof-read my messages before I send them. - Although I did not get the "S6 Edge," the regular S6 screen is almost as wide as the phone itself so I keep finding that I am inadvertently touching the screen just by holding the phone so the the buttons I am actually trying to are not be recognized. I hope this will be solved as soon as I get a phone case. - The phone is very slippery to hold onto - again I hope this will be solved with a case. - Fingerprint security sometimes takes multiple tries to unlock the phone and after 5 tries you have to type in the "backup" password you created which has to be 6 characters including 1 letter and 1 number. Maybe it just takes some getting used to because I am getting better at it. It could also be that originally I set up 4 fingerprints (max # of fingerprints) - R & L thumb, R pointer, and R middle - and had a lot of trouble getting in. Since then, I've deleted out the pointer and middle. Whatever the reason, it is working better now. - I bought the 32 GB phone and after only 1 week and a half I seem to have filled up more than half of my available space and I have not downloaded an extreme number of apps (total of 82 - folders counting as 1 - including the default, pre-loaded) and I don't have very many photos or videos on the device yet so I'm a bit concerned that I didn't buy enough memory. Of course, time will tell. I am overall happy about the phone but many of the "cons" were a bit surprising for me. Fortunately, I found ways around (or I'm getting better at or I can live with) most of them.

Good phone, but returned mine.
||Posted .I bought my sister and I this phone. She is less interested in customization than I and this was a great upgrade for her from a Galaxy S3. She loves the camera and the speed of the phone (her S3 was very slow and would freeze if she received a lot of group texts). For myself, I returned it within the 72 hours to avoid an activation charge (Sprint). I was upgrading from a Galaxy S4 where I added a 32 GB microSD card (nice to have the option) and an extended battery (since I work in sound booths with reduced cell signals). You cannot do either of this with the S6; this is a big complaint of loyal Samsung Galaxy users with the Note 5 and S6. I ended up finding a Galaxy S5 for my new device. It's still an upgrade from my S4 in terms of performance and features in addition to a memory card slot and replaceable battery. So now I have 32 GB internal storage, double the mAH battery with my S5 (charge every 2 days). Long story short, if you do not mind having to recharge the battery 1-2 times per day and use a lot of cloud storage, this is a great phone. If you like to customize and expand like I do, opt for a different phone or wait to see if Samsung reverts back to SD card slots and removable batteries.

Q: QuestionIs it true that you cannot swap batteries and SD cards? If not, then I will never upgrade to this phone. WHY would Samsung stoop to following Apple down this road? This is the main reason I'll NEVER have an Apple product. I've had several Samsung's, but will not buy another unless it has an SD card slot and swappable battery.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer You are correct. Samsung has made a huge mistake with the design of the Galaxy S6. Both the removable battery and micro SD slot have been removed from the S6 design. I would NOT recommend the purchase of the S6. If you are willing to wait, Samsung is receiving a huge backlash from the customer community and will most likely put these features back into the design of the S7. I own a Note 4 and no way am I going to upgrade if the Note 5 follows the nasty path that the S6 did. I sure hope not!

Q: QuestionAlready a Sprint customerI have a Samsung phone and want to get the Samsung 6 how does that work? Do I have to make monthly payments on the phone. How is service transferred from one phone to the next keeping the same phone number?
Asked by Ms Kitty.
- A:Answer It's exactly the same as walking into a Sprint store and upgrading your phone. Best Buy works with them, so it acts the same. They activate the new phone after looking up your Sprint account and transfer it to your phone number. You have the same options you would at a Sprint store: buy, upgrade or lease the phone. If you want to make monthly payments you sure can, but Best Buy offers some killer deals this month on phones for new contracts or renewals. I just got an S6 for $1 out the door (bought, not leased) for my 2-year upgrade with Sprint (I was also an existing customer). For transferring data, Samsung Smart Switch from the Play Store is your friend. Download it to your old phone and the folks at Best Buy will start it on your new phone. you click through and select what you want to transfer (photos, videos, ringtones, music, etc) and it takes care of the rest. It even preserved my WiFi settings and password.

Q: Questionis this phone really $1.00 what is the catch? Is there a contract? If so how much does it cost and how long is the contract? Is data free and so I get free minutes talk and text?
Asked by dottiemae.
- A:Answer Hi! I am actually a Best Buy mobile employee. It is a TWO YEAR contract that you sign. If you talk to your mobile associate they can go over plans that will have unlimited talk and text with a certain allotment of data. However many carriers have stopped offering new two year contracts in favor what is called "Installment billing" where you pay sales tax on the device and make monthly payments on the full price of the device. However, don't let this scare you, it operates just like a 2yr contract and more than likely save you money. Hope this helps! Sam, employee ID a1041068 Best Buy Store #1539 Port Charlotte, Florida.

Q: QuestionTalk quality of S6I have an S5. The talk quality is so poor, no one can understand me. Has Samsung fixed this known issue in the S6?

- A:Answer Both myself and my wife have the S5 through Sprint and have no issue with call quality. My daughter's S6 seems to be working great. No issues that we can find.

Q: QuestionDoes S6 phone have a removable battery?
Asked by Anonymous.
This question was asked about the related product: Samsung - Galaxy S6 with 32GB Memory Cell Phone - White Pearl
- A:Answer Yes and no .. The battery can't be removed like the older gs models but if you really want to you can remove the battery by removing the home board and such...I wouldn't recommend it because it voids the manufacturer warranty and any insurance you buy through your wireless carrier.
