Adequate protection. A one piece that attaches with magnets. Can watch movies with in two horizontal positions' Holding it vertically can be challenging but I only have to do so on some Facebook pages. The reason for the 4 star is Samsung can do a better job with the cover for the price and the expensive tablet it covers. The very expensive keyboard case is two pieces, and the stylus is covered on the back charging spot and the back of that case has a flap for watching movies with one piece. It would be nice if the cover had the stylus covered on the charging slot and not stored at the bottom of the tablet. Folding the cove open makes the ends extend awkwardly either on one side or both.

This case is sleek and streamlined, which also means it doesn't have the best drop protection. It's fits my Tab S7 Plus and Tab S8 Plus like a glove. Mangnets could be a little stronger as it does separate sometimes unexpectedly. It being a first party case expect to pay a premium. Definitely, catch it when it goes on sale. Very happy with it so far
