Great Tablet for Wall Mounting
|Posted .We bought this tablet to mount recessed into our wall and framed. It works great for this purpose. The weird stand attached to the back of this tablet is extremely easy to remove and does not void the warranty, as it's a simple click and lock to remove or re-attach. I can't comment on the battery life as ours is always plugged in. We love the "daydream" feature which serves to display our family pictures when the tablet isn't in use like a digital picture frame. The screen resolution is fine and the PPI is not distracting or bad.

|Posted .Great thing to have if you need an extra media player. I got this for my wife. We have a small kitchen no TV there. It's like having a tablet and TV display in one. Strong vifi signal recommended. 18in display is great. Absolutely love it.... Check out YouTube reviews as well. I recently discovered that I can use my bluetooth headset to listen to my shows. PS4 Golds in particular. Don't buy it if this is your only tablet in the house because it's not as portable as the smaller one like 10in for example.

Great for movies and some games
|Posted .This blew my mind when compared to the new iPad. Problem is it's bulky and doesn't work in portrait mode. This is a problem with messenger and hangouts. It will not mirrorcast unless your on YouTube or google chrome. I could airplay my iphone to it using a $3 app with no issues. Everything else is excellent: Hulu, Netflix, kodi, Mobdro. Battery last all day, very impressive! There is no case protection available except for carrying bags online. I added to key chain holders to case to place it on the back seats for the kids. The love it!

- A:Answer Yes, It can easily be removed. I remove mine when traveling. Here is how you do it. Open the stand at the top by closing it at the bottom in other words, put the stand in the position as if you were going to lay the View in your lap. Look down at where it connects to the view. You will see 2 sliver pins ressessed in the plastic. They will have a hole in the pins for the purpose of removing the stand. Take a long thin philips screwdriver and insert it into the hole. The pin will only go in one direction so slide the pin either left or right and the stand will detach from the device. You will feel the spring resist. Do this on both sides to remove the stand. To put the stand back on, you do not need any tools, gently press the stand to the back of the device and you will here the pins snap back into their holes. You can remove the back in less then 5 seconds. I have done this many times with mine and have even demonstrated it to the Samsung Rep.

- A:Answer You can use a standard Bluetooth keyboard and mouse with this. Just pair via Bluetooth and you can use a keyboard/mouse to do work in Microsoft office, browse the Web etc

- A:Answer I am a senior and love it. Easy to use, easy to see. Some apps do not expand to fill the entire, very large screen, but I am very happy with it. Replaces my first generation ipad, which was thoroughly enjoyed and worked to death. I do, however, use a stylus for accuracy since I hate smudges left on the screen from touching (and the occasional sticky ice cream fingers) but the on-screen keyboard keys are large enough so that I type with accuracy.
