Q: QuestionDoes this product have the same performance as a new one or has it been heavily used?
Asked by Emeseis.
- A:Answer I have purchase four of these drives and the hours ranges from 2 hours to 64 hours highest use.

Q: Questionwhat is the warranty on this refurbished product?
Asked by tony.
- A:Answer Best Buy's warranty is 90 days on the Samsung Evo 860 500GB SSD Drive. If you register the drive with Samsung it will state 5 years. Read down further in the fine print and it will state that Samsung will not honor any warranty on a refurbished drive refurbed by anyone other than them. They will not honor a Geek Squad refurbed drive.

Q: QuestionI see two answers to the warranty question, which one is correct - 5 years from manufacture date or 90 days? Thanks!
Asked by Kipper.
- A:Answer 90 day warranty, not 5 years. They will only warrant drives that they themselves refurb. Geek Squad is not an authorized refurbisher.

Q: QuestionDoes the Refurbished ssd come with the Magician software needed for the transfer of data like the new one?
Asked by Norm.
- A:Answer The SSD itself does not come with any software on it. Samsung Magician is free software that you can download from the Samsung site. However, Magician is software for managing your SSD, not for cloning. For cloning your old system disk to a Samsung SSD, you need the Samsung Data Migration tool which is also free to download from the Samsung site.

Q: QuestionAre these drives marked "refurbished" in any way (like with a sticker or stamp or anything)?
Asked by heymrjaykay.
- A:Answer The packaging is definitely indicative of it being a refurbished unit, but I don't recall there being anything indicating that on the drive itself.
Answered by Wildfire
Q: QuestionIf this drive is only warrantied for 1/20th the span of a new drive?(90 days) How do you justify charging almost 50% of a new drives price.(with a 5 year warranty)???? It seems as if you are counting on your customers being stupid.
Asked by Techguy.
- A:Answer Agreed!
