We routinely had issues with old system. Dropped internet and limited coverage on a single base unit. We went to the Samsung smart things 3 pack and now we have coverage all over the house and yard. Only watch out if that it is 5ghz signal and if you are like me and have WiFi enabled devices such as door locks, lights, and cooking devices that operate on 2ghz, you won’t be able to connect them any longer. I made several attempts with my wife’s cooking equipment by putting it in my truck and using power outlet on truck to power it. Then slow Ely driving down road to get the very edge of coverage to get the mom to connect because apparently the Samsung SmartThings dusk mesh will work on 2ghz when it has to reach out far to connect. I got it to work once and the other equipment never would connect so I gave up on it. If the smart things mesh had a setting to select 5 or 2 when connecting this wouldn’t be an issue but it doesn’t. Buyers be aware of this potential issue.

Love it. Zwave appliances and switches connect. Whole house coverage at last. Home pass allow control over kids screen time, I can adjust from my phone anywhere.

The Samsung Mesh WiFi system isn’t amazing. I manage a number of short term rental units. I have 3 in one complex that I needed to have a strong signal for each unit. The building are mostly steel, concrete and glass. Our previous router wasn’t doing the trick. The Samsung system has great signals in all three units even though one of them if behind a thick solid wooden door with no windows. I use this in my own home as well. A+
