Samsung - Wireless Charging Cover for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Cell Phones - Black

This product is obviously for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, of which one of the nicest things of the Note 3, is that for such an impressive smartphone, it is unbelievably light, add this cover, and it adds a bit of weight. That said, it has a nice stainless steel plate under the plastic, that plate gathers the electronic field and charges the battery, so the stainless steel plate is where the weight comes from. This item is also thicker than the stock battery cover, of which the camera protrudes a little bit with the original battery cover, so this wireless battery cover adds thickness and makes it so the camera is recessed a little bit. It makes it so that the entire bottom of the phone sits plush on any surface, as opposed to the camera hitting first.

I recently purchased the Samsung Note 3 as a business phone and I was eager to take advantage of its Qi Wireless Charging capability. I looked at three different stores for this cover before finding it on clearance at Best Buy. If you already have Qi charging pads, this back cover works easily. I use it with both the Nokia wireless charging plate and the Nokia Fatboy wireless Charging pillow. Both work like a charm - I just set the Note 3 down and it begins charging automatically. The cover looks great and has the exact same appearance as the standard back cover for the Note 3. So I imagine it will still work in protective cases - though I have not found a case I want yet. Honestly, with this awesome wireless charging back cover and a decent screen protector, why bulk up the sleek Note 3 with a case? I love it just as it is!

Love wireless charging. Seems to charge as fast as traditional charging of hooking into the port. I was excited to find out that my cases still fit the phone with this charging cover. A little snug, but works. I am also able to charge my phone through the cases...no need to remove them.

This piece fits well with the Note 3 and works well for wireless charging. Unfortunately, it's very difficult to find a case that will fit with back (as it adds a little bulk to the Note 3), so kinda "scary" at times carrying this around with no real outer protection (glad I have the Geek Squad protection with my device)

It is a great product other than the issues when it does not recognize the charging pad but this seems to be software not a hardware issue. They also need to make silicone sleeves or some other type of case for phones with this back

I have always had problems with the charging port being damaged on phones. This charging back significantly reduces that threat. Charging with a Samsung wireless charging pad takes about 4 hours from less than 10% battery level. Note that you need to purchase the wireless pad separately.

It is great to be able to go home and simply place my phone on this device and have it charge. The only downside is that if it is left on for a long time, such as during a long 12 hour sleep, the device will stop charging after a while and the battery will start draining.

Works good and better than adding those coil receivers especially if you're like me and like to swap out batteries often when out. Only negative is you can't really use most cases with this (I ended up using a bumper case that covers the shiny silver edge around the phone only).
