Great speed if you use special reader

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5Awesome product, but you'll need SanDisk's proprietary MobileMate USB 3.0 reader to reach the max speed. The reader costs about $10, so no biggie for me. With a normal card reader or my laptop's SD card slot, read/write speed was around 90MB/s, which was still very, very good. I was able to achieve higher than advertised speed using the MobileMate reader, 177MB read vs 101MB write. These are truly incredible speed for a micro SD card. Highly recommend!

Raspbian imaged on the card and the boot times were about where I expected it to be, about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Then I tried this card, the SD Extreme Plus. What a difference in speed. Boot times now range in the 15 - 20 second range. Launching programs felt a bit snappier, and compilation times for larger C or Rust programs were faster. This could be due to factors such as increased disk speed for RAM paging read/write.

Unfortunately the real issues haven't been resolved with Samsung and zi will have to purchase the new iPhone in September when it's released.

- A:Answer Yes. But S9 will use it as portable storage only... So no A2 benefit. Also, it will only read at 80-85 mb/s in there. You can get same speeds from regular Extreme which is cheaper.

- A:Answer Yes, I only use SanDisk Plus or Pro cards for the faster read and write speed’s. Plus they’re the only cards that take the extreme temperatures for the GoPro during summer and winter recording. Also I have a 256G and they are making a 400G soon to be available. GoPro only recommends up to the 64s if you read their chart on the website. In talking directly with GoPro found out they are taking their recommendations from SanDisk who is way behind on updating their recommendations. Have been using the higher storage cards from my Hero6 since June and no issues now with my Hero7. Also check out WD My Passport wireless SSD portable drive for microcard transfers to free up space. Hope that helps!
