First of all, yes, these drives are pricy, however for creative professionals, they are fantastic drives. I have been buying G-Drives for years, and this is my first under the new SanDisk Professional branding, and they use a first class chipset inside, and enterprise class 7200rpm hard drives. I used this drive to clone about 10tb worth of data in around 9 hours from a RAID system used for video. Love these drives! Very reliable, and fast!

I am a photographer, and having reliable disk drives and backups is of paramount importance to me. Over the years, I have found that the G-Drives are extremely reliable and have yet to have one fail. The same cannot be said for other drives that I've had.
