This drive will not work with Windows until you clean the existing partitions, initialize a new one, and format it. In other words, be a geek or you'll have to ask the Geek Squad to do it for you. The specs here say it's compatible with Mac and Windows, but that's not true out of the box. It's designed for Mac, but requires further installation to run on Windows, and most of the online advice about that process leads to dead ends. That said, once I got it installed, it's a great drive, but I would have got something different had I known.

This Is the goat of all external drives. I used it for the videos me and my wife make in our private time.
