Great drive addition if one wants or needs extra storage. It is relatively quiet. It does get a bit warm but has more than adequate venting. The speed is really fast and the aesthetics are quite industrial.

I work with pictures and video's quite a bit and needed a larger Time Machine drive to backup my 27" iMac and TB3 connected G-Tech external drive. This one filled that bill perfectly. There's plenty of room for backups and it seems to be a fast and reliable drive. Very happy with it's performance so far.
