Not terrible
||Posted .Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This micro sd card works in my old crappy phone. Its not as good as a yugioh card but its a pretty good card. Its not like its a bad card or something. Its just a nice little card that doesnt ask any questions and works for me without hesitating or else id surely destroy it without any thought. It wouldn't be the first time ive put a machine out of its misery...

SanDisk
||Posted .I have always bought SanDisk memory cards and memory sticks and never had any issues/loss of data. This one also came with a bigger sleeve that fits into my laptop card reader - another thing to watch for if you don't already have one. The class 10 is what I was looking for and from what I read, this class 1 is more updated but can still be used for a class 10. I bought some cheap Dash Cams that required these. They also only take no larger than a 32GB Micro SD card. Evidently the file format changes when you go larger then a 32GB card which more expensive newer devices can use - not the older cheap ones so watch what you buy. With Video set to the highest on my Dash Cam, 32GB gives me 4 hour recording at best. Not a big deal as I set my device to loop recording and would only use it for proof of an accident or something I pass. At that point, I would drop the video to my laptop for saving before it gets wrote over. You need the highest setting to be able to read a license plate. FYI - the more expensive nicer Dash Cams do a whole lot more and record a better quality picture. These are my first Dash Cams so I wanted to experiment and get to know how to use them and understand all the settings before spending the money on a nice one.

This is why removable storage is great
||Posted .Every tablet and phone I will ever own will include a MicroSD media slot. It is faster to move data via the SD slot from an older device to the new one. Plug it in and move on with life. No fuss, no muss. As opposed to devices that have no SD slot (only integrated memory) and require a connection to a computer or (slower) cloud storage device, which take more time to transfer and - in some cases - data corruption can occur. Just moving one expansion card is so much quicker. I bought this 64GB card on sale, which was lower than any online retailer. But even if it were not on sale, it is cheaper to spend $50~100 on this MicroSD card than it is to spend up to $200 more between phones or tablets. Many devices come with 16GB, charge $50~$100 more to get the 32GB device, and then another $100 on top of that previous charge-up for the 64GB version. Keep in mind that integrated RAM is also being used by the operating system and data it stores. So, for many practical reasons, we customers are better off with MicroSD cards that are transferable between devices. If anything, as long as one doesn't bend it or tapdance on it, it will remain viable. My only worry is cramming 64GB of space into such a small domain. Technology is incredible, but flash memory devices have limited write spans (100,000 write cycles per sector) and the space between sectors is so small that electromigration or magnetism could reduce the ability of the card to hold data. Even as a digital photographer, I know that full size SD cards can corrupt image files over time. So backups are essential, and the smaller size of MicroSD makes backing up even more important. But SanDisk is, historically, a VERY good brand. I don't expect the card I bought to fail any time soon.

Used to salvage pictures and videos from my pc
||Posted .when I found bestbuy had a sale on this product I jumped on it. fortunately I purchased two of them. I knew I wanted to use one to save my videos and pictures since I am trying to clean up my pc and also migrate the information over to an external drive. my perspective was to be able to have the files to provide to family members so they could load the items they wanted onto their phones then pass to the next family member. I don't necessarily like to have people sending a million pictures since that can impact your phone if your card isn't high enough. the card held all the pics and vids I had with room to spare. the second card I placed into my new phone which came with 16g but I figured why not just give it a go with the 32 and use the 16 for something else. I love that I can save a great deal of high capacity files/info on such a small device. its doing wonders for my spring cleaning and computer consolidation efforts (I also purchased a external hard drive to assist with these efforts). I suggest purchasing this product - when its on sale and best buy usually has a sale during the holidays/special days. don't be surprised if its on one of the deal of the day values or upcoming mothers day!

Inexpensive storage for tablet files
||Posted .I bought this SanDisk - Ultra 32GB microSDHC Class 10 Memory Card to expand the storage capacity of my Samsung Tab 2 7.0 tablet. By buying it on sale at Best Buy for under $38, the tablet's storage capacity was increased from 8 GB to 40 GB for about the same additional cost as buying a the same tablet with 16 GB capacity. This card response was so fast that I had to check to make sure that the files being added were going to the card and not to the internal memory of the tablet. The set up procedure for the tablet allowed me to direct all photos, music files, e-books, etc. to the memory card, leaving most of the 8 GB of internal memory available for files that must be on it for proper operation. This memory card is definitely a good investment. I have also had success with the SanDisk - Ultra 16GB microSDHC Class 10 Memory Cards that I use in my digital cameras.

Great for expansion slots in devices
||Posted .Recently the price dropped down to around 29.99 for this item. 32gig has been high up until the new year and it was perfect timing for the spring semester. Granted as soon as I bought this item, I noticed it was 8$ cheaper at another location when the Best Buy employee told me they sold them for the cheapest. I purchased two for my expansion slows in my S3 phone and my Note 10.1 Tablet, bringing the total capacity up to 48gig in each device, which is excellent capacity for many documents and various types of multimedia. If you are looking for a economic alternative to the usually pricey MicroSD cards, this card is great while being very fast with speed transfer. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for that expandability without spending much money.

Q: QuestionWhat is the micro SDHC which is inserted into the scan disk actually for?
Asked by MLE1122.
- A:Answer Most units you buy have built in memory for storing your data, pictures, music, etc. The built in memory usually is not large enough to hold everything you have, so in order to extent your storage, you have to buy external memory that slips into a slot on your device. That is what the 32G micro SDHC unit idoes, it extends your storage so you can hold more data, etc.

Q: QuestionZTE n817 (legacy) phone manual only says micro sdhc, will this Ultra work in my phone?
Asked by Shel.
- A:Answer I am knowledgeable of these cards and if your device says it needs a MICRO, that is the smaller physical sized memory card which this one is. This one also came with a bigger sleeve you can put this smaller one in. The larger sleeve fits into laptop card readers. Without the sleeve, you would have to connect your device to the laptop via USB cable... if your device has that option/cable. I have mine in a Dash Cam and do not like taking my laptop into my vehicle to download video I want to save on my laptop or remove the camera from my windshield. Its easier to pop the smaller card from my Dash Cam, put it in the larger sleeve, and then insert the sleeve into the card reader on my laptop to download video. Some older devices only take a 32GB card as the file format changes when you go larger. You also need to use the class (and size - GB) recommended in your manual. FYI - class 10 is the best with these older devices and are equal to class 1 with a U around the 1. There is yet a new standard of class these days. Class has to do with the speed in which the card can record in... not the size/amount of data it can hold. You don't want to spend a lot of money for a larger (GB) card and faster class (speed) and find it is not compatible with your device. This class information is easy to look up on the internet - Google know all. Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionI need a 32 GB microSD card formatted to FAT32, speed class 4 or greater. Is that what this card is? Thanks.
Asked by CptK.
- A:Answer Yes, this card is already in FAT32 format, class 10. If you are running Win 7 or 10, you can manually select it to be formatted to FAT32 by navigating to THIS PC, right-clicking on the drive that the 32GB MicroSD card is present at, then select FORMAT. Under FILE FORMAT, choose FAT32 and the process should work.
