This memory card is not amateur technology. Ease of use and its mini-size, not to mention memory capacity and speed of retrieval, are excellent. It is like the old "Timex" marketing slogan: "Set it and forget it".

The 8MG card was a perfect addition to the larger cards I purchased for my video cameras. I used the smaller one for the photos of the trip.

Just starting to use it ; it's great for storing all my photo's and than with ease transferring to my lap top from my phone makes it so much easier

san disk ultra are the best cards i have used they last and after years of use only one melted

Be sure to adjust the picture size on your camera to a smaller size to enable the SD Card to take up to 2,000.

Hi, Everybody: I accidentally made a technical error on my first attempt at reviewing this, and I think I have got my facts straight now. I apologize to Best Buy for my initial inaccuracy. I have used this card to take photos and record videos on my Olympus TG-830 camera, and the card comes with a full-size SD card adapter. Therefore, I can take it out and plug it into my Android tablet and edit and post my videos onto YouTube. One of my applications from the Google Play Store converts most videos to a format that is editable on the Android tablet, and another application can play and send most of the initially uneditable formats directly onto YouTube where they are playable as either private or public videos, and also pretty well editable (on YouTube) using Windows. However, the 60 interlaced (60i) as opposed to the 30p format is the least Android-friendly format I have tried, although this is certainly no fault of the SD card. Of course I can see my photos there too (on the tablet). This card works quite well, and it has a speed of 48 megabytes per second. The warranty is a 10-year warranty, and the card is made in Taiwan, not China. Many of the newer SanDisk SD cards have lifetime warranties, but I already knew before I bought this by checking the packaging in the store that it has only a 10-year warranty, and this one is good enough for me! I think SanDisk SD cards could be the very best brand! Thanks, John

We plugged the tiny MicroSD 8 gig memory module into a tiny slot in our memory-challenged, 3 year old Garmin GPS unit. This memory upgrade had been advised by Garmin tech support to accommodate the larger, newer version of the map database (all of North America). This memory worked perfectly and the updated Garmin data downloaded and installed in our unit (using the Garmin download software) perfectly! Our travels so far confirm that the Garmin and the new data are working better than ever. Problem solved and at a very low price. Recommended.
