Fast! Did not fit tablet case though...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to transfer files from my Samsung S2 8.0 tablet, but when I got it and tried to plug it in, the case(Supcase unicorn beetle pro) did not allow it to fit in. I ended up getting a short male MICRO USB, to female USB type A adapter to make it work. Bottom line, it is fast, holds a lot of data, slide mechanisim is flimsy, the dual usb/micro usb is a good idea but needs work if you have a case. My advice, get the adapter so you can use any regular USB type A flash drive, and add more connection versatility to your device.

Finally can have tons of video for my tablet...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So easy to load season after season of TV shows (or full movies) to play on my tablet or cell phone when stuck somewhere with nothing to do. Also use it with my media player in my home. I have the 32 GB version also.

Great for Andriod Storage and File Transfers.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Andriod Devices: Plug and use with built in app Called "My Files" (no need to install anything, unless you want to use other apps). IOS Device : Need to install a Third Party app called "iUSB Pro" (need to install a file transfer/managing apps, cause its not build for ios devices to use). And you need an Adapter that has a "Micro USB Female to Lightning Male Adapter ". This USB dual drive lasted me about a year. R.I.P Lever for the dual usb 05/21/2017 ~ 5/5/2018. The death of my lever was happened during me, who pressed too hard on the trigger lever that moves the usb to different modes, while it was stuck on a certain point where its not plug-able. Then I cracked it open with my keys, and was not able to put it back. I mean at least its still use-able, just kind of hard to unplug it. And its quite hot to touch without the plastic cover. It said its 64GB, but what I actually got was a 57.84GB. Also there is few files that runs inside the usb like .data + Android + LOST.DIR + System Volume Information. It might be just me, but just letting you know. I use this as a daily driver tbh, it might be because of that it broke in 1 year. I use Videoder alot with this product, since my wifi is slow af running at about 300 kbps average or less. In other places with fast wifi, I abused the crap out of the app for downloading mp3 and high resolution with 60 fps videos on youtube a youtube and some anime sites. Anyways its a good product for both Storage and File Transfers on Andriod Devices/Computers. Cons I have now, my raw usb heats up over time when plugged in too long, and it looks ugly with out the the cover. Pros I am happy with right now, it still works and functions just fine, and the time I bought it was only 20 bucks during black friday sales. Aside from the raw usb that heats up overtime, and the warrently that passed so long ago. It is worth the buy. Size : As big as a USD 25 cents.

Great option to easily purge the phone's storage
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this item because I have a 32 GB phone, and I was CONSTANTLY running out of storage space. Maybe half of it was apps, and the other half was media (pictures, videos, audio, etc). When I saw this item on sale, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to try its convenience. I was not disappointed. Here's a little pro/con on this item: Pro's: small (hence, portable), convenient, large capacity, sticks right in the phone to free up space, serves as another flash drive for the computer as well. Con's: You need to download Sandisk's App to move your files from the phone to the drive, and this is the one thing that I didn't like: the app itself. Very restrictive, not as user friendly as you would expect and while transferring files, the battery of the phone drains like crazy; so large transfers (say over 5 GB) aren't an option unless you have your phone fully charged. If you can live with that (I can...) then this device is a good option. The transfer rate is quite reasonable, so that helps in saving some time. But absolutely a much more convenient way to free up some space in your phone than plugging it in to your computer or deleting apps. Sure, you'll eventually have to stick the drive in your computer to free up its space, but that's way easier than doing it with the phone, and also a lot less frequent.

Handy 2-way storage for the keychain...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I already have plenty of flash drives - both "mini" and regular sized, but this tricked out flash drive has something that none of the other have: both a standard plug for the computer and a mini plug for the phone. Sharing phone photos or videos is now much easier, as you plug into a friend's phone, copy the pictures and/or videos to the flash drive, and then can transfer them to either a computer or another phone. The whole process also works going the other way! As soon as I saw this I thought of my friends who really don't know how to handle sending me multiple files or videos from their phones (other than posting them on social media) and this little gizmo solves the problem. Add to that the USB3 speed, and what's not to like? This has now gone on my key-ring (small enough for a lanyard as well) and is always handy when needed. When on sale, this is a very affordable "extra features" flash drive and is priced low enough not to have to worry too much about losing it

Built like a tank
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I originally purchased this little item to transfer data between my Galaxy S7 and my PC. Well I am now using a GS9 and can no longer use this item due to it using the old Micro USB Standard, however I still use it to transfer data like pictures and such to the Kiosks to print. I recently put some very valuable pictures on this thumb drive and after doing what I had intended to do, I brought it home but left it in my jean pocket. Sure enough, the jeans went into the washer and dryer before I realized it and fished it out of the dryer. For sure I thought all of the pictures were gone but lo and behold, every single item I had placed on it is still on there. If you need a portable little thumb drive that will keep your data safe in all conditions, consider this SANDISK.

small and perfect to my key chain, easy to use.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this drive. My phone switches to the file manager automatically and I can copy any photos or files from my phone easily. I read other reviews where people are complaining that the micro USB is not long enough to go in their phone with a case; and I assure you this is because they are not using it correctly. The switch has a 'detent' and you have to push it all the way out... it makes the usb connector about 25 percent longer than a normal one. Overall I am very happy with this product. The price was perfect . I got it on sale.

Q: Questionwhat device will this work with? Will this work with the Samsung Galaxy S5 phone? I ask because it has that funky dual plug on the bottom.
Asked by Michelle.
- A:Answer This device works on Samsung devices, Amazon Kindle tablets of all kinds, also on any device that has a USB port. It works on all my Microsoft PCs and Android phones and tablets. It can store your music for those devices that have only a small amount of storage, for those times you can't get to the cloud securely.

Q: QuestionHow many photos does this store?
Asked by Marie.
- A:Answer It really depends on what kind of camera you are using, and how many megapixels it has. Also, what file type they are saved as, RAW image files take alot more space than Jpeg. See chart below. So, if you are using a 16 megapixel(MP) camera taking jpegs, averaging 8 megabytes(MB) each, there are 1024 MB in a gigabyte (GB), this is a 64 GB flash drive, 64x1024= 65536 (total MB), divided by your image size (8 MB) 65536/8=8,192. So approximately 8,000 photos at 16MP, 16,000 at 8MP. A LOT OF PHOTOS! There are other factors in image size but, I think I have gotten too technical as it is. :) I hope this helps!

Q: Questioncan this product be used on all apple ipad models
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I do not think that you want to connect the USB to your iPad. Any USB can connect to a Mac system but will need to be formatted to support MAC file system which is different than Windows. This is done thru the Utilities application.

Q: QuestionCan I download Netflix movies for my Saamsung tablet ot Amazon prime movies for my Amazon tablet? Ripped dvd? I would like movies for my trip.
Asked by Grannygeek.
- A:Answer I save videos and movie clips into this flashdrive. 64 GB of space can store at least 20 full movies depending on quality. But I haven't tried downloading from Netflix. DO they allow that? It might violate copyright laws. But I do save some movies in this flashdrive and play them in my old phone Samsung galaxy s5 using VLC app.
