Q: How far does this mount extend from the wall, both minimum & maximum distance?
A: The maximum extension is 18 inches the minimum extension is 5 inches for the TV mount.
Q: would this mount work with a sony 40 inch led tv?
A: This mount will work for most Sony 40 inch LED tvs.
Q: Is this mount compatible with Samsung 40 inch TV model UN40J5200AFXZA?
A: Yes it is fully adjustable, very easy to install.
Q: What is the max weight capacity for this mount? My TV is 54 lbs.
A: The weight capacity is 54 pounds.
Q: mounting hardware included?
A: Mounting hardware was included, but the four M4(?) bolts with it were a little too short by about 3/16 to 1/4 inch so I had to go to Lowes to buy new ones. My TV is a new Samsung 40 inch 4K HD. Other than that, the mount went together fine.
A: No the stud does not have to be in the center of the tv. With the stud being off centre though, you will poss. loose some of the motion. What i did was i put a 5/4 x 8 inch board across 3 or 4 studs so i could move the mount closer to the centre of the tv.
Q: Will This work with a Vizio 47inch
