It looks cool. It was on sale. I followed the directions and it was not too hard to put together. It reslly ties to room together

I'm always wary of MDF furniture, but this exceeded my expectations. Its a heavy bookshelf that is standing up to a lot of weight on it. The coloring is beautiful. Setup was straightforward!

I was definitely surprised and impressed by the quality of this "pressboard"/self-assembly bookcase. Past purchases of similar items have been rather disappointing and the products do not last that long. This bookcase, however, was thoughtfully engineered and feels bulkier/heavier (a good thing!) than competing products. No engineering snafus in terms of all the pieces fitting together. It did take slightly longer to put together than expected, but that is because of the high quality of the product. No sagging shelves, scruff marks, etc. when fully loaded up with books. Would absolutely purchase this product again, and may do so to replace a smaller case that has sagging and warped shelves that is eventually going to fall apart (sooner rather than later).
